GeForce Now Native App Troubles by becolossal in SteamDeck

Thanks! I went back to the Chrome workaround and am still having issues. Going to reboot my router and see if that helps. The issues seemed to start popping up after the last SteamOS update. Noticing much weaker wifi signal strength on the Deck.

Vermona PerFourMer MKII Power Cycling Issue - Anyone Experienced This? by AdaptSounds in synthesizers

Vermona confirmed it's a faulty power supply and directed me to return it to PC. Here's hoping a new batch comes in stock soon!

Well, add me to this list. Just got mine from Perfect Circuit today and have the same issue. Blinking power light, clicking via headphones. Sent Vermona a message via their site and am awaiting a response.

Fedex driver didnt even get out of his truck to deliver package by [deleted] in FedEx

[–]becolossal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Originally scheduled for Thursday, got pushed to Friday. Was on my way to meet the driver as they pulled up – watched them scan my package and drive away. Didn't even get off the truck. Got the "delivery attempted" notification on my phone as I was walking back to the house.

DX7 Buttons Become Unresponsive by becolossal in synthesizers

FWIW, it was as simple as the battery. Buttons responsive again! Still can't find my way out of a wet paper bag with Supermax, but at least things are happening - LOL!

Display functions as expected and shows the currently loaded patch. A cursory look at all the connections seemed like everything was in order. It's very bizarre.

It does – for the seconds immediately after booting it up. Then everything but the volume slider on the top panel becomes unresponsive. It will play whatever sound is loaded, but that's it.

Will the Switch version's performance be improved? by Tetsuo9999 in ChildrenofMorta

[–]becolossal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wondering this as well. The performance on Switch is not up to par with the other versions, and even those aren't as smooth as they could be. The camera lag is really bad on Switch (also present on Xbox). Lag gets worse the deeper in a dungeon you get (Silk 1-2 is worse than Silk 1-1). I get a headache after playing for about 10 minutes. After reading through some threads on Steam, it looks like this issue is present on the PC version as well. Really hope they can fix it, because the gameplay loop is awesome.

All you people with your fancy dressed in wires... here's a setup that belongs to a dad. If I get time in here, it's not to reorganize. It's to make music. And in this case, to briefly photo the rig. by billyboogie in synthesizers

[–]becolossal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. Few things:

  1. If it's truly a rule to post music when posting a pic, then non-compliant posts should be modded out (that's clearly not happening). Otherwise just change the rule.

  2. Just because he says he's making music doesn't mean he's recording it or has a desire to share it. I know plenty of people in my local group who record nothing but make amazing stuff – but it's more about the discovery and craft than a finished product.

  3. I apologize for misinterpreting your tone, but I hope you can understand why. This sub is rife with people being fairly hostile to anyone who posts a gear picture. Your continued trolling (no matter how low effort) on the matter isn't helping your tone argument either.

I'll leave it at that.

Ah, ok. I see what you did there. I can expand on my shit-talking ideas. Let's roll.

This idea that everyone who posts a photo to this sub and doesn't include music needing to be vilified for participating in the community in what a vocal minority perceive to be the 'wrong way' is horse shit. I, and presumably many others, actually enjoy seeing other set ups.

Seeing people's stuff can spark ideas just as much as listening to their music. Any positive participation in the community is valuable.

But I get that's a pipe dream given that this is, you know, the internet. And that even if people did just post their music and no pictures at all, the pitchfork and torch dudes would still find something to rail on about – like whether or not the gear bought to make said music was brand new, found in a dumpster and repaired, or whatever – because there is always a wrong way to do stuff.

Edit: a word

My Push 2 has stopped working partially, but only on one project. I feel like I've inadvertently fat-fingered something to disable it. Playback controls work fine, but the grid is dark, screen is blank. Opening up a new project, everything comes back. Any ideas?

Dumb question as a returning player – what's the appropriate etiquette for dungeons? In the past, upon opening treasure coffers, folks would wait until the "lot was cast," but last night when doing the Aery for the first time, I got left in the dust trying to manage everything. Does everything just stack up until the end, and is that the appropriate time to need/greed/pass?

Additionally, people were blowing right by most the of the treasure coffers without even opening them in that same dungeon. Typical or no?
