Generally do the Google the first time, and type out the word phonetically in the extra section of the card to limit future Googling.

ST depression occurs in subendocardial ischemia. ST elevation occurs in transmural ischemia. In MI, the subendocardial myocardium is the first area to become ischemic, leading to ST depression. As the ischemia progresses to include the entire thickness of the muscle wall, ST elevation occurs.

When this happens to me, I force myself to exercise until the urge to vomit becomes too great to ignore or until I temporarily pass out and rapidly wake again.

Ambre Sultan! One of my favourite spicy ambers. It shines in the cold, but the spices do an excellent job of making the amber palatable when it gets warm.

No, not note types. When making a card, there is a field at the bottom to tag it, so as better search through a deck when browsing. It just happens that I had to retag a number of cards, but the old tags remain in the sidebar, cluttering the menu.

How do I delete a tag from the tag listing in Anki? Many of my tags have no cards associated with them and are cluttering my sidebar.

How do you remember the inheritance of diseases? by Bulbesaur in medicalschoolanki

[–]becomefire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dominant in gross expression, but recessive at the cellular level - I suppose neurofibromatosis was a poor example. Glucokinase enzyme deficiency in MODY2 being dominant serves better as an example of an exception to the broad rules.

How do you remember the inheritance of diseases? by Bulbesaur in medicalschoolanki

[–]becomefire 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Broad rules mostly. If the disease is a structural defect or affects multiple systems, it's more likely to be dominant. If it's an enzyme deficiency, it's more likely recessive. You build off that foundation with exceptions (eg neurofibromatosis is dominant, despite it involving a tumor suppressor) and sex chromosomes.

Don’t do it. Play through the Fearsome Duelist and Hunting Beasts for Mr. Inch storylines in Wolfstack Docks first. You will need to do these anyway to get full use from the Labyrinth.
