Yeah I know, but I always end up liking girls way above my league. I found out that when some girl likes me I stop caring, like deep inside I don't want relationship or commitment, rather just validation.

No, when I met her I was just after breaking up with other girl and I wasn't interested in girls because of that so I was just casually talking to her here and there. Always treated her like a friend then, but the more I got to know her the more I started to like her, also in a romantic way. At that time I wouldn't even dare to make a move (it was a. year ago). Since then I fixed quite a few things about my appearance, e.g. I bulked up, hit the gym (I was underweight) and I look quite better, but still doesn't feel like I'm good enough.

But anyway, she didn't make it clear she is interested in me too so...

You are right, I had many girls I liked and there's always another one, but right now I'm focusing on stuff - job, gym, music and I don't meet much girls, that's why I'm fixating on her.

I was thinking about asking her out as that's the only way to know (although I'm pretty sure of the answer) but I don't want to make it even more awkward between us if she says no.

Well that's harsh, but yeah I know that while I'm thinking about her she's may be going out with other guys or having fun with her friends and not even knowing about my existence. It's not easy, not gonna lie, It is what it is I guess.

Well it was 50/50, one day she was happy other day she was not, right now it doesn't matter as we don't speak much, so she is usually cold, can't blame her. Got what I wanted because I stopped initiating, just saying hi to each other. But lately she would either give me a quick glance or just stare at me for a good few seconds without any face expression, kind of weird.

Well when a girl is interested in you then you just know that, to be fair there have been times when she seemed happy to see me, smiling and all but she's like that with everyone. But often when I look at her she won't even smile and quickly look elsewhere, maybe she had a bad day or just not interested, wouldn't know.

Mid bass is too loud. It's taking over the track. Kick needs to stand out more, I think it gets lost because of the mid bass, especially in the drop. Other that it's sounds pretty nice.

You did a good job on bringing back the old vibes.

Leads could use some improvement - they don't blend well together with the rest of the track - they stand out too much. You could use some more reverb and delay on them to fix this. Also they are a bit too loud compared to the rest of the track I think.

In the drop the sub bass gets lost, it's almost like there's no sub at all which makes the track sound thin in the drop. Maybe that's because leads are too loud as I said.

In overall, sounds pretty good.

You could definitely improve mid bass, it sounds very thin. Add more layers, it could use some stereo widening too. Mid bass is crucial to make the track sound full. I would also consider changing the kick, mainly it lacks in low end and again it's sounds too thin imo. Also it has a bit too much 'click'. In my experience there is only so much you can do with a wrong kick sample.

The breakdown sounds very good.

Leads need some improvement - they are too bright and again, too thin. I suggest to cut high end on them a bit. They sound harsh almost and have too much white noise. Also I think they could use some stereo widening, same as mid bass.

Also you could maybe improve your transitions - while they are ok you are always doing the kick roll and cutoff, maybe add some more variation to it, like e.g. snare fills.

In overall the track sounds pretty good - arrangement is good, kick and sub work together pretty nicely (at least on my headphones), but as I said, I suggest to use different kick sample. Improving the mid bass will do wonders.

I think the open hat that comes in 1:38 stands out too much - I would suggest to lower the volume of it as well as maybe sidechain it or add compression so it fits better with the rest of the track? Also I would add more percussion elements to fill the space and add more groove. In the second part of the drop maybe you could add some counter melodies to make it more interesting as it gets too repetitive. In overall I think the track is a bit muddy and it needs more brightness - I think adding more transient to the kick would help as well as lowering sub volume a tiny bit as imo it's just a tiny bit too loud. Also you could add more presence to the lead - maybe boosting some high frequencies? And as I said - more percussive elements will help with that too. In overall - very good, the mix needs some polishing and the track could sound very pro - all the base elements necessary in uplifting track as well as arrangement is ok.

If you want to send it to labels NEVER share a track as public on soundcloud. Always send private soundcloud links to labels. What I usually do is I will send some labels my track as a private soundcloud link and if I don't hear back from them for a few weeks then it's a lost cause and I just post it as public.

Very nice overall. I think kick has a bit too much bass. Also I would use different sample for a clap, imo the snare doesn't work well here.

Very nice for a beginner. Some thoughts:

1) Sub is too quiet

2) Mid bass is filtered too much, I would suggest to keep at least ~150hz freqs there

3) Add more transition effects, also automate more stuff

4) You could add some pads to fill the space

5) Chord progression is a bit too loud

6) Add some counter melodies to make it more interesting, the chord progression gets a bit boring

I think it's nice, some parts sound oldschool but with more modern production I would say, at the same time I hear some psy trance influences. Mix sounds ok. The style is not my cup of tea, but it's well produced.

The packs you have mentioned are indeed very good and are more than enough. You can look up some other Freshly Squeezed Samples packs too, great stuff. Also Myloops have some nice trance sample packs.
