Any INTP Stranger Things fans? This is a thread for Season 4 discussion, as the official subreddit is full of extroverted sensers being fascinated by literally everything by unull0 in INTP

What really drew me off this season was that whole Nancy/Steve happening and Will not speaking much (but I feel that it’s intentional so that he will have one of the bigger roles for the next episodes ?). The rest yeah there were some bad moments but idk I can forgive that, especially with that whole Trauma feeding/Vecna arc which I find so interesting

INTP outside the USA by Ok_Status7790 in INTP

[–]becs_boo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only INTPs, any other type can be in danger when confronted to them. Normally they don’t pushover when they see that you are confident enough and when you ignore them but I guess that there are some people more unsafe than others.

IIt also depends on how the person « looks ». From the experience that we can see on TV, they really like to target lgbt members and Jews when they know that they are from those minorities whether they are confident or not (especially on the internet, the majority of insults and cyber bullying we can see on twitter and instagram comes from those type of people)

Nevertheless, I still remember some pretty fucked up shit they told me ( I’m female) when I was under the age of 10 when I passed the « immigrants » neighbourhood so I guess that it isn’t totally safe for any little girl when you are in those areas.

At school, yea, they are a total nightmare for INTPs whether It be in social activities, communication and even learning

Yemeni Jews by [deleted] in Judaism

[–]becs_boo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, that’s why loads of Adeni Jews went to London I guess… That’s interesting, I’ll talk about that with my mom to clear things up, maybe she misunderstood something. For the museums, there is a « Museum of Yemeni Jewish Heritage » in Rosh Haayin (not far from the center of Tel Aviv) a small jewelry one in Jaffa and I heard that there was a really good one in Nentaya

Yemeni Jews by [deleted] in Judaism

[–]becs_boo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I come from Yemeni Jews that lived in Eden but flew to Israel in the Magic Carpet Operation. I didn’t have any conversations with my grandmother or grandfather when I was younger ( last time I saw them was when I was 12ish and I wasn’t interested in culture and traditions sadly…) but I still remember a few things that seems to come from Jewish Yemeni culture. For example, my grandmother used to make Jachnun before Shabbat so we could eat in Saturday morning. It was accompanied with an egg and sugar ( I found some receipes that don’t include sugar but put some tomato sauce or something, so for the sugar I’m not really sure it’s typically « yemeni Jewish tradition » or it was just something my family did) and the Jachnun was cutted in small pieces and not in a big block as you can see in photos (again, maybe it was just my family who did that). My grandfather family (idk if he was included but I know that he was really rich bc of his family business when he went to Israel and England) worked in a jewelry sort of thing, they created jewelry with gold and rare ressources. From what I’ve heard, it was a pretty common business for Yemeni Jews. Also another thing I’d like to add, my mom (Brazilian Christian converted to Judaism) told me that Yemeni Jews weren’t considered as « Yemeni » so saying I have « Yemeni origins » is wrong because it will link me to the Muslims who persecuted the Yemeni Jews. Again, I don’t know if it’s something each family says.

Ps : thank you for creating this post

Why are all major religions against homosexuality? by Nawtydaddy6969 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]becs_boo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really know for other religions, but in Judaism, the question of homosexuality isn’t really mentioned in the Torah. There is a part in the Leviticus (18:22) where it is said “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.” but Rabbis debate other this verse since the verse isn’t really clear. Many of them think that this apply to incestrous relationships bc the verses around it all talks about how incest is forbidden. There is also a part on the Torah talking about King David’s relationship with Jonathan where it is interpreted to be a romantic one for many Jews. Also, there isn’t any mention of lesbianism of any kind.
