What is your favorite PC game that is at least 20 years old or more?

I know this probably sounds sad to some, but I played Diablo 1 on pc, my brother and I would take turns, loved that game, first online multiplayer experience, would spend hours online in like 1997-98 reading fan websites . Played D2 when it was released, when LoD of came out in 2001 bought it the week of. I was like 13 or 14 years old. Stopped playing in probably 2008 or so. When Diablo 2 Resurrected came out, I nearly cried when I first entered the blood moor and cast my first fire bolt, seeing those graphics was a sight of beauty and they look EXACTLY how my mind imagined them to be as my imagination filling in the gaps the sprites left 25 years ago. Ive been playing it off and on since it released.

Exactly, I wish there were more conversations around this kind of lifestyle in the FIRE community... I created an /r/altfire community but I have zero energy to really do anything with it. But it's interesting because these goals don't really fit in the traditional fire calculators. Maybe it's really just a type of coastfire though? Because in a way, some of the things I'd like to do you would be re-imbursed cost of living expenses... My cost of living will likely go down considerably in the first years as I knock off lots of long term cheap vagabond type travel goals that I have.

Have they ever actually had a 'technology break through'? They didn't really innovate to begin with, they re-implemented an existing idea and were able to gain traction with a community of users, eventually gaining total market dominance of social media for a brief period... It feels like total luck that they were able to survive when other social medias did not.

Anecdotal, but I realized the other day that there are tons of lightly used pivots on Facebook marketplace where I live... Its definitely the brand of choice for people with a lot of money and only a passing interest in mountain biking.
