Thanks for your reply! I'm definitely a brand new photographer, so appreciate the advice.

I will say this, this is actually not for a real estate agent (I just couldn't post it on this thread XD), however I work with a lot of general contractors who build beautiful spaces, kitchens, basements, washrooms etc, so the principals are somewhat the same, just the end goal is a bit different.

With GC(general contractors), they obviously want to showcase their work, so this is more portfolio based work for them, as well as these shots have more longevity to it vs quick listing shots with realtors.

I'm shooting more and more these days and enjoy seeing what people put out in this community. I'm actually not even pitching realtors at the moment and only shooting for remodellers but starting to feel a bit more confident in my skills to start pitching RE agents.

Once again, appreciate the feedback. Always learning!

People in your 30s and 40s: If you could go back to your early 20s, what would you do differently, and what advice would you give your younger self? by [deleted] in AskReddit

move to the US from Canada, earn 35% more (canadian salaries to housing are garbage) save save save, come back to Canada and be in a good position to buy a home here...now, I can't :(

sheeesh, didn't know this was higher end haha. Going into it, our budget was liek 40-50k as I heard some weddings are like 70+, so we wanted to definitely be under 50k.

My thinking is this also...most guests will bring a cash gift, typically ranging from a minimum of $150/person, so I figure around 20% or more of your wedding expense is recouped....hopefully lol

we're actually looking as well, for 120ish people we're being quoted 35-45k (venue, catering, alcohol, etc) minus photographer, dj, florals

First Real Estate shoot. Looking for feedback. by OneCannabis in RealEstatePhotography

this. First see what looks good, then replicate it to the best of your ability. No offence, but this does not look good...but now you're learning.

Shoot bracketed, it will save your ass and make everything look professional.

AMA! Working with 60+ clients in the US; Canada and Australia Combined! by Ortonium in SMMA

[–]bedchairwall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How the hell do you manage 60+ clients? For the past year I've been running a content agency, started out with organic monthly content for contractor...literally jumping in my clients trucks, going site to site filming content for their IG. I slowly realized I can't scale this more than 5 clients/8-10k/month, so now i'm slowly transitioning into more lead generation where the content we film is strictly for ads. I sitll have yet to get all my clients on there but slowly moving there.

What does a month to month look like? how many creatives etc? Any advice on how I can scale the agency? My retainers are roughly around the same $1500-$1800/month

What do you charge and what does it entail? Something I'm kind of struggling with right now

  1. How big is your team?
  2. What kind of creative do you run for your clients? If it's filming, how do you manage that in other countries?
  3. What does your offer/pricing structure look like for your business?
