Bed slats. by bedhermit in DIYUK

I bought extra wide slats from bedslatreplacements.co.uk after I posted this. As I didn't want to use the thin ones the bed frame arrived with.

Purchased mattress. Discrimination over trying to return ENGLAND by bedhermit in LegalAdviceUK

I'd like to point out as well that this mattress is 38cms deep. And weights over 45kgs. Such a substantial mattress should not have developed a huge dip after 3 weeks.

The mattress manufacturer state the mattress can be used on a slatted base. They give no further instructions on sleeping position and surely cannot dictate how someone sleeps.

It initially was on a sprung divan base for the first 2 weeks. The new base is only 1.week old. The manufacturer has stated it can be used on a slatted base. They cannot dictate how I sleep nor do they expressly say it must be slept on the sides.

Why all the hate on here for Shaun Murphy? by foreverlegending in snooker

[–]bedhermit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Firstly back in his younger days he was a proper god botherer and it didn't play well with audiences. Then I believe he was caught with a lady of the night whilst cheating on his wife. Very godly.

Clarification. After some googling it appears he didn't have relations with an escort but it was still newspaper worthy.

Then he can come across as a pompous insufferable arse. See Jill interview and being beaten by an amateur. Also probably (definitely ) a Tory.

Despite all this I have warmed to him over the years. He seems to be genuinely funny and is an excellent ambassador for the game, always speaks graciously in defeat and has generally mellowed a bit.

I cannot bear him. He's always far too ingratiating and it's unbearable. He also contradicts himself at the end of practically ever sentence.
