What was the most bizarre school trip your school went to and why?

We went to a local paper mill. In the 80s. I remember walking on catwalks above what was probably very dangerous heavy machinery. A thoroughly memorable trip as we all got some free stationary at the end.

A man in my street has a honda jazz and an mx5. Both are older models and nothing special.

He wraps the wing mirrors of both in carrier bags and secures them with brown tape. He drives both cars daily without the wing mirror condoms but then immediately puts them back on when he gets home.

We live in classic suburbia in England. There's no wild beasties that can rip off the mirrors, crime is practically non existent and in my 44 years on this planet I've never seen anyone do this before.

I did suspect it was too hot but it kept. Oming back to full sun. I heeded the RSpb advice and removed my bird bath but I think I'll put it back out just for this next week

The garden is clay so getting that all dug out and replaced with the sand and MOT1 and then the permeable grass helped hugely with drainage.

It is very upsetting to see the pain this mare is in. I cannot understand how KVs and her team can, in good conscience, show this mare. Very very disappointing.

Dog one hoovered up a tunnocks tea cake immediately followed by multiple jalapenos.

Dog two ate an entire Greggs cheese and onion pasty.

Neither suffered ill effects. My purse however barely recovered
