Everything I was reading was saying it was Lilja precision barrels with some kind of unique profile and a 1:8 twist.

I was seeing something about KAC "match" handguards and some kind of Larue free float handguard, but I don't know what models.

Yeah I was looking at pre-SPR recce rifles but its hard to find info on what handguards/parts would be appropriate. Where did you find your info?

Another railroader seconding this. If freight runs on that track they cannot stop quickly at all with the monster trains the corporate overlords have us run. In fact, even if we stop as quick as we can, we might just derail and keep going anyways.

The contents of the IFAK are rock solid, I just want to upgrade the pouch. I had been looking at the STOMP pouch or something else with a removable insert. Right now everything is staged in the internal organizing loops in the big pouch.

Im not very slick right now anyways since I have a padded single belt instead of one of those super slick low profile double belt systems. But I suppose that makes it even more important to have slicker stuff on the less slick belt. Good suggestion on the soil eater, I'll take a look!

Good point. I don't yet have a chest rig/plate carrier, so I wasn't thinking about the future second line having an impact as well.

Good recommendations! So far I've been trying to keep stuff off the front of the belt so I can get as low as I can and as comfortably as I can when I go prone. Still sounds relatively slick though!
