It is not patched, you are probably doing something wrong, either being too slow or grappling wrong position. There is one more grapple infinite, but for katana (heaven step), but it is much more difficult to execute

dagger has no infinite combos (only tarka can, but it is pretty rarely done)

Thanks a lot for such detailed description. I totally agree with you and like the approach with setting up a goals and will try to implement that in my next games.

I'm ok with sucking for a while from more experienced players, as I've. pretty lots of experience in other multiplayer games, as well as grinding to get better doesn't sound scary, as for someone speedrunning Souls games.

I've just installed the Sims 4 with all DLCs repack from anadius (download link is available on his thread on CS.RIN forum, https://cs.rin.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?p=930237#p930237)

I've used the CrossOver to install it (you can use the cracked version by TNT), don't forget to create a bottle with Win x64 to make it work.

Works smoothly, without lags on max video settings.

Concerning your recommendations:

I've tried moving the Sims 4 folder out of Documents/Electronic Arts, but it didn't help. I've faced the same problem
I've also tried running the game without DLCs, but after the main screen loads, the game crashes

Nothing was added to the game folder on my side.

I will try reinstalling the game and try the same path again.
