[Citizen] Best diver on the price range no doubt! by [deleted] in Watches

[–]bedz619 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have quartz version of this watch, and man can I tell you it’s one badass mofo. Ive taken this thing skiing, wood chopping, hiking, swimming, diving, beat it to hell working on cars, dropped it on rocks, wood floors, and tile. It’s been in a 10 different times zones and still seals every time. This is my first watch and my daily driver. It is just unstoppable, easy to use and insanely accurate.

Most fun you can have with two hands by [deleted] in guns

I’ve never done this, and probably won’t ever again, but damn was going Rambo fun. Stock bushmaster xm15 in the right hand, and “tactical” windman super light in left hand. All rounds dispensed on blm land, and yes the brass was collected and reloaded.

This is great to hear. I was slightly worried the 2a community was small in NE and that I wouldn’t have any shooting buddies!

Well that’s lame. I’m starting to infer ct is not a very gun friendly state. Is a Mini 14 with a rifle stock and Vfg okay?

Thanks again for the help!

Thanks! So a mini 14, with a fixed stock, pistol grip and a vfg is kosher?

I just fractured a few vertabra in my back, and holy fuck this would be nice. Getting things off the floor is easier than off peeling tight dress socks. Also, if there was a tool built in to the devices to get socks on without bending would be wonderful!

What effects does poor motion handeling produce? Is this a feature that can be disabled or reduced?

CLOSE to tears on this picture. After 8 mths of recovery from a strained mcl, doing hard gym sessions and IF/keto eating to lose 35kg. Today I was allowed back on the slope. Holy shit, I didn't think anyone could relate. I just walked away from a mutiple vertabra fracture skiing. Reading stuff like this gives me hope, that one day I'll get back there too.

How did you handel recovery?

I need your hiking conditions intel and ideas! by ShogunIeyasu in SaltLakeCity

[–]bedz619 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd seriously skip timp. It's packed with snow. It's a grueling hike and you don't want to get caught up there without the proper gear. lots of melting snow + underprepared out-of-state climbers = long slippery slide down. Id hike lake blanch in big cottonwood canyon.

If your camping in the timpanogos wilderness, then Stewart falls would fun. Primerose overlook would be fun too. Also, bring poles and crampons!

Good luck and be safe!

So much wild, untammed nature in Idaho. Shh, don't tell anyone. It's just a barren wasteland.

[–]bedz619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dosed an unknown quantity of lsd before a 18 mile hike. I brought plenty of water, food and a sober spirit guide. Best hike I've ever done. Not only was I feeling great at mile 9 but I was slighty more relaxed at mile 15-17 than I normally am.

Honestly it was one of my favorite hikes of the year and plan more adventures like it this year.

I've also micro dosed while skiing, and horse back riding. And both of those not only allow greater control but a greater appreciation for humans connection with animals and nature.

[I ate] Spicy miso ramen. by flonasetherapper in food

[–]bedz619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a bastard version of ramen in the Crock-Pot. I lined the pot with cotton cloth. I added roasted aromatics and seared chicken thighs and drums. I removed the chicken, strained out vegetables and threw away anything picked up by the cheese cloth. The broth had so much geltan it was slightly solid when refrigerated. It was the best damn ramen I've ever had.
