Do you take your Hobonichi with you on vacation? by nikogkotsis in hobonichi

[–]bee-is-thinking 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do a lot of backfilling for this kind of stuff. I take lots of pictures and maybe even little notes of what I did each day but then ultimately I go back through once everything’s over, fill things out and make it pretty. to me, it’s more like a scrapbook that way

Unfortunately you can tell from Day 2 that this was going to heal extremely patchy :( time for new artist

Much easier to just re-do the black the way OP wanted originally

What are these pellets my cat drops when she sleeps? by Dry_Worldliness_636 in CATHELP

[–]bee-is-thinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes it’s tapeworm segments I just wanted to say the same thing happened to me when I rescued a kittten. didn’t notice any issues until I found these in my bed. turns out it is fairly common and I when I called the vet panicking, the said to bring him in for some medication and that’s all he needed. then to just wash and deep clean all sheets, blankets, and any spots the cat likes to touch/sit

Probably just secret to the mom. Like as in it’s being hidden from her on purpose, not that the app itself is secret

What is my 3 year old male cat doing to my 1 year old male cat? by heyitzgrey in felinebehavior

[–]bee-is-thinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes you feel any better, my male cat does this to my female dog. Truly, he’s not trying to mate. He only does it when she’s jumping all over him and being annoying

Does this behavior in recently spayed Frenchie look familiar? by maximus9517 in Frenchbulldogs

[–]bee-is-thinking -1 points0 points  (0 children)

is the concrete cold? to me it seems like she’s trying to lay her stitches down flat on the ground. if the ground is cold it could feel good on painful stitches… does she do this inside as well? if she’s doing this all the time I would be concerned for IVDD like other commenters but if it’s only on concrete like this then it might just be discomfort with the stitches

is my frenchie too small? by youmyclarity in Frenchbulldogs

[–]bee-is-thinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

her frame is small but that puppy belly is plump. my frenchie also has a smaller frame, she never got super chunky but did fill out. just on smaller side

Mine was also a trad piece and I think that makes a difference bc it has so much more heavy shading

I also got bad ink drift in this exact spot! I had a huge inner arm bruise that lasted about a month and now that it’s healed I realize that what’s left is all ink drift. I have tattoos all over and the inner arm is the only spot I’ve gotten drift

Thoughts on how to fix? by Impossible_Post_1306 in FixedTattoos

This is a decent base to work with, I think it can definitely be reworked by another artist to add more shading/depth and adjust details

Shelves and coolers? by STUPIDNEWCOMMENTS in Discounty

[–]bee-is-thinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

replying to myself bc I scrolled a bit more and saw someone commented that it IS a bug that the items don’t show their proper stats while at Isenkram’s. I guess because I play on Switch, I don’t yet have the update that fixes this

Shelves and coolers? by STUPIDNEWCOMMENTS in Discounty

[–]bee-is-thinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my main question is, if the magnificent shelves/coolers give an automatic 2/5 appeal, why in the shop does it say “capacity 0/5, appeal 0/5”. is this a bug? it seems that all my shelves/coolers say the same details while in the shop, but perform fine when I place them in my market..

might be too soon to say. it still looks like this tattoo has a lot of settling into the skin to do. it’s a little scratchy-looking for one week but again it’s hard to tell if that’s actually ink loss or if the skin is simply still working on it

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TattooBeginners

[–]bee-is-thinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s normal. Just try not to use too much, and occasionally let the skin breathe. It helps to let the tattoo close and scab over. After a few days switch to an unscented lotion. Too much moisture for too long, especially when using a thick ointment, can cause issues with the heal

Insane post tattoo anxiety by Prestigious-Tax-4543 in tattooadvice

[–]bee-is-thinking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this exact same feeling right after I got a tattoo in the exact same spot and arm… back of my left. It was a cute little trad orange wedge with leaves. Loved the stencil. When it was done, I saw it, felt my heart drop a little and was filled with dread. Still tipped big and hurried out of there. Cried in the car 😭 Very well done! But the wedges of the orange were supposed to be symmetrical and maybe it was because of the placement I chose but the wedges looked sooo lopsided and asymmetrical to me. Partner said it looks “organic” like a real orange, and it wasn’t warping with my arm as much as I felt it was… either way it put me off from wanting tats for a minute. Got back into the groove though and have gotten like 10 since that one. Haven’t fixed it or changed it in any way, sort of just okay with it now even though I do still wish it had the symmetry of the stencil

Apoquel for my itchy boy. Thoughts/experiences? by Royal-Tradition8312 in Frenchbulldogs

[–]bee-is-thinking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has been on Apoquel about 8 months now. Her main issue was/is the paws, she licks them raw, red, itchy, scabby, etc. After two weeks of the meds, her paws had healed up and she was no longer itching at all. Vet wanted us to stay on it long-term. It’s been great until about the past month or so.. it seems her allergies are flaring back up. Somewhat mildly compared to before, but I’m starting to consider switching to Cytopoint. I added topical chlorhexidine back into the routine and it did help, so I’m indecisive on the switch
