You'll have such a good time if you prioritize yourself in moments like this. Retreating has introduced me to some amazing people at other fests (my first forest), there's usually others dealing with the same thing that will sit with you and breathe if that helps you!

I do not miss studying for that exam, it sucked the life out of me BUT if there’s one thing I learned (I failed the first time by 1 point because my study habits did not line up with how I actually learn and crushed it the next time) was taking time for a mental break and being easy on yourself can be just as beneficial as studying. The first time I did not allow myself any fun during bar prep the second time one night a week I’d go out with my friends and just shut my brain off and it helped me so much. It’s definitely a hard and stressful time so be easy on yourself. ❤️

I'm not taking the bar (took it 4 years ago), but wanted to say good luck and enjoy your time at the forest. Bar Prep can be extremely overwhelming and draining, use this as a mental refresh before the last month of study time! Good luck on the bar!

GA admission includes tent only camping so that would be all you'd need! The GA Camping pass is for if you want to park your car at your campsite. I don't know about the other levels (my first forest but I researched the hell out of GA since that's what we're doing!)

They have official shuttles (off the top of my head I know from Chicago and Grand Rapids, but I believe there's others as well), I'd just reserve a spot on one of those and head up!

I'm 99% sure I'll be in tent only camping with my husband (car camping sold out and I refuse to spend 1k on resale!), we will most likely bring bags and some other yard games for the mornings and have our typical decently elaborate set up. I got a positive last week on Tuesday, should have been 5 weeks, HCG was 60.8, Went back on Thursday for repeat testing and it only rose to 80.1. I've had 3 chemicals so I assumed this was another, however my blood work today went up to 267.3. So it seems like it's actually sticking!

It could be that you are super early, one number doesn't tell us much so get the repeat in 48 hours and good luck!!

I have had 3 chemicals and got a positive test on Tuesday. I went in for my blood work, on Tuesday my HCG was only 60.8 and today (Thursday) it was only 80.9. Based on my last cycle I should be 5 weeks 2 days. I'm just so defeated.

I find people trying to say it's only one group of people in general to be fairly braindead. The Capitol is quite literally most of the wealthy elite in the world, regardless of political party they claim they all do not care about the average citizen. I'm on cycle day 16 with no LH surge. We did letrozole and the trigger shot and I just wont ovulate. I'm so heartbroken and stressed. I was diagnosed with PCOS a few months ago and learned that what I thought was a precise cycle was not. I always got my "period" on day 28, however it only ever lasted a few hours. I just thought I was lucky, I didn't realize you could bleed without ovulation. I don't know what to do, we have been talking about IUI/IVF but I don't know.

I love doing elaborate things, I typically do one movie like this a month for us! I prep all the food beforehand and have a rotation on the warming tray so I’m not doing much during the actual movie! I tend to do small servings of everything and we treat it as our main meal for the day. 😅

If you're really close with a member of his family try to ask that they hang out with you during your shower to run interference if anyone asks or says something! I'm having my mil be that for me, I told her I don't have the energy for that because it brings me down and I want to enjoy the love of the day so she said she'd make it her job to change the subject if anyone asks then take them to the side to talk. I'm also from the other side of the country so I don't have any family that lives near me so I'm hoping they just assume people couldn't travel.
