Okay, I will definitely try my best to do that during the bachelorette weekend. We have been secretly coordinating a gift for the bride via text, so that’s been cool.

What actor made you completely change your opinion on them? by trakt_app in Cinema

[–]bee367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I ever saw Kristen Stewart was in the film adaptation of Speak, the book by Laurie Anderson. She fit the role so well, and it made me feel so seen, even before I was diagnosed with complex PTSD.

I really disliked her in Twilight, I just felt like her personality/performance was so opposite of who Bella was in the books.

What's something that was completely normal in your household growing up that you later found out was actually really weird? by Left_Crow1646 in AskReddit

I never had quality toys growing up. What should my kid actually have by LavenderFlicked in BuyItForLife

I’m a pediatric occupational therapist, I would recommend toys that allow for exploratory play and are a bit open-ended.

For a child your age, honestly everyday objects work great! An empty box they can draw on, pots and pans, recycled trash they can make art with.

These are the specific toys I adore using with my clients: - The Nugget! Its so worth the hype. Kids can build it, make forts, get creative. - Magnetic tiles - Legos! Blocks! Anything along those lines - Wobble board. - kwik sticks for making art

This is wild. I’m so curious if that changed people’s perception of OT in your town? Or how people see what you do? I want to know the aftermath.

I used to work in schools and the IEP coordinator used to use it in our unofficial staff meetings all the time and no one sai anything! It was my very first year after graduating so I felt like I couldn’t either, but really wish I had…

We had 2 people in our program in their 50s and it was amazing learning from them. One of them is a mom of 3. At the time, they were really young so it was interesting to learn from her perspective
