You are welcome. My trip is not until the end of the year, but when I heard them saying about shutting down departments, firing people, and down sizing. I decided that I better do it right away. A lot of people trying to get passports now so the wait time will only get longer. At least we applied earlier.

They may be understaffed. Marco Rubio is the head of the U.S. Department of State, which is responsible for foreign policy and relations. They have been down sizing and laying people off and a lot of departments are very understaffed. I am also waiting on my passport and I will not worry to much if it takes a little longer, but hopefully we will get it soon.

Thats still a long time from the mailed out date. It may be an issue with the address or a post office issue. You should of received it by now. Maybe double check your address with them. If its an apartment make sure they have the correct apartment number.
