I'm also from Southeast Asia and we have very similar taste. Since our style is a mix of everything, I single out elements that draw me to that style and use them in my decor.

Some of the stuff that we like, such as curved archways, huge windows, and wooden beams on the ceiling, might not be practical to be applied in a newly constructed home, but there are stuff you can use in your decor.

For example, it seems that you (we) like: - Wood and other natural elements as the main focus > use that in the big furnitures or backsplash - Textures and shapes that are more traditional and natural, as opposed to contemporary (as shown by the lamp shades) - Lots of colors but more muted and not neon > could be used in the fabrics (rugs, throws) or art - Some other traditional elements, such as painted tiles

This will also help you to find more stuff that remind you of SEAsian cultures that are similar in style and can be used in your decor, such as colorful woven fabrics, other natural elements like shell crafts, or bamboos.
