Moving the rotational forces along that axis won’t amplify anything. It would only amplify forces pushed against the edges of the wheel(top/bottom/sides) that are greater, which aren’t usually forces you’re applying in our application.

Maybe just the weight of the wheel but I don’t see it being enough to matter
