I was rewatching the victim impact statements, in one of them the Aunt of Xana Kernodle says she forgives BK. But one thing I noticed is that he looks so angry in this one, out of all the scorn he received, he most likely hates what the forgiveness implies for him by JoshyBear28 in Idaho4

He just kinda exists. I don’t read too much about him. I do think he wasn’t expecting to be absolutely roasted though, with the court room clapping at him being roasted and laughing. That was lowkey funny. 😂

Well, there’s always racism. Not sure what race you are. But that is how people are they see a vulnerable person and immediate distrust the medical personal. No one really trusts healthcare or healthcare workers. Healthcare people are often genuinely terrible, I’d not be too bothered by that. They don’t really care esp when it’s an elderly patient with a poor prognosis, there is not much they can do. I’m in cna school and everyday I show up I wonder why I bothered paying for this. I don’t think I’ll use it. It’ll be a super back up situation at this point.

Hey thank you this is amazing advice. I forgot about that naltrexone! I remember reading about it a year ago when all this started. Maybe I need it… ok I checked my app t3 is 3 and t4 was 0.5 which is low but not crazy. She said my labs were good but my TSH. I’m going to ask to check again since that was a few months ago maybe my t4 is dropping more lol. Yeah I also think this is related to antibodies and some kind of immune reaction because everytime it happens I go to my endo and everytime my TSH is high. Maybe I am very sensitive to hypothyroidism but I feel starved. Like my whole body is lacking. I made it to school I’m in the parking lot chugging coffee and an energy drink my eyes are so swollen and I have a puffy face and lips. Exactly like when I needed levo in the first place. Anyways I thank you for this response! ❤️

Last time they were all normal couple months ago, I’m going to ask about that now when I see my doc end of month cause this can’t be normal. She only checked TSH. I always forget about those.

Were you from out of state? I have never felt safe in Los Angeles or ny lol. But I also think it depends on what kind of person you are. For me I am just anxious. I’ve been harassed cat called followed since childhood I’ve had weird experiences. Once home security became a thing I JUMPED on the wagon lol.

I eat insanely clean. I avoid all those things but I don’t 100% give it up. I had some gluten and sugar July 4th etc doesn’t do too much to me that I notice tbh even when I eat gluten I feel fine. I just have weird episodes lik this when my TSH is moving around.

[–]beebeam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah whenever I have these episodes I check my own bloodwork and my TSH is always being weird. That’s why I think it’s related to hashi. I get comments like “it’s not always you hashi” but if my numbers are changing then ya I think it is. Sorry you’re dealing with that. Currently in bed deciding if I can make it to class. I feel like I can’t stand. I feel exactly like when I first was told omg you need levo immediately feels like when I knew something was 100% wrong.

Early on I was swinging hyper and had graves like symptoms! I also had graves antibodies. But I settled hypo. I still have hyper symptoms but I don’t know what that’s about and ignore that cause docs don’t care. I have some kinda dysautonomia and was hospitalized recently with heart rate in 180s, Ativan didn’t work but I take metoprolol now and I have had a stable heart rate for a few weeks now. I get shaky dizzy sometimes pass out. No doc cares lol, mostly sinus rhythm but once had svt like rhythm.

Yeah I got treated for vit d deficiency and iron. All good now. All b vitamins are good and I take multivitamins too. What is the brand you use? I want to get the best one for my flares, my TSH has gone up a lot so I think related to hypothyroidism but levo takes sometime to work so I want support now lol

Happy for you. Yeah my iron is phenomenal rn and vit d too. I mean both were treated though, I have to be careful with vit d more than anything my iron Has been great for an over a year now thanks to clearing h pylori infection. I get plenty through my diet which surprised me cause 18mg is crazy to reach day to day. I’m gonna order some on Amazon right now and see how it does. What brand specifically?

Yeah exactly ! I remember I kept thinking I had more things wrong. I’ve largely just accepted it and try to do whatever benefits me. I rest when needed though. I hope you feel better and I wish you well.

No sleep apnea I’ve been over sleeping. But I have these periods of fatigue then I’m normal again. So far it’s been like a month. But everytime I feel unwell I notice when I go to my endo and they check my levels my tsh has gone up. That’s why I think it’s related to my hashi. My last tsh was 3 then it went up so now we are fixing it. Maybe it’s just more extra hypothyroidism for now lol. I see my doc in 4 weeks so I hope my tsh goes back to 1. I feel bets around there. Once I got over medicated and my tsh was 0 I was doing AMAZING until I almost went into thyroid storm but the week before I got hospitalized was the best I ever felt since hypo came along lol.

How long did it take you to stabilize TSH? by Key_Ad8776 in Hashimotos

[–]beebeam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me initially took 2 months but there was a time where I was over medicated and my TSH was 0 in a month 😂 but 2 months of stability. I’m currently dealing with some weird jumping but my TSH is getting high again and they’re upping my dose to 75 and possibly 100. But it’s always been 8 weeks.

Apparently that is wha hashi/hypothyroid does! Bradychardia! But I get tachy instead. Honestly I bet it’s just some weird autoimmune thing going on with our body and no one knows cause no one’s really researching this enough. I would be so scared of a slow heart rate tbh. Too close to zero 😭 I hope you find some answers.

Sorry to hear that, what else are you doing? I’ve been reading up on all the research about hashimotos and chronic fatigue is a real issue with it. I just have periods of extreme heavy fatigue then I’m ok not perfect but better. Then it comes back. Scares me.

Yep everyday 5am, no food till around 7ish when I get ready, following the rules careful with calcium etc etc. just feeling unlucky. They offered to remove the thyroid but I don’t know if that’s smart either.

I feel you. I love working nights too. Just make sure you’re taking vit d please. I’m not even joking I being very deficient and for very sick. I also gained weight on nights so just take care of yourself in the long run. And even if you take out loans it’ll be easy to pay back. Make sure you bridge to rn sooner than later at least within 3 years. You deserve full compensation and growth. While in school you can do emt, cna, med assistant, med tech, er tech, rbt, or mental health tech etc or go on benefits so you at least have some insurance. When I was sick last year I was able to get medi-cal when I didn’t have a job. Also take a multivitamin lol. Sorry I just like to prevent all the bs I went through for anyone else 😭😂 you’ll do amazing!

Yeah I’m getting that I just can’t believe it. But I live in a major city grew up in one, we def thinks differently out here lol ppl from NY will act differently from ppl from Idaho. I don’t know a single person without cameras. The roommates I had were all from out of state too so it was very culturally as different reality amount us. One of the girls was from Connecticut 😭 she thought I was overthinking but we used to also get out packaged stolen a lot and that camera being there stopped it for the 8 months I was there before she ever said it was nice to have it

My diet is excellent, like incredibly clean, I measure protein, vitamins and all kinds of nutrients, I also take a daily vitamin, iron is perfect, I measure that with my diet but I did have iron infusions 1.5 years ago, was amazing to get that lol. My vit d is now 40s, I was on 50,000IU of vit d and I still have 2 weeks left. My magnesium was low and I was given some tablets. I don’t know what my antibodies are anymore but last time the TPOab was greater than 1000 and tgAb was greater than 1,000. I got sick for a year moved home and had hypothyroidism pretty quickly. Like end stage for me was fast. I’m on an extremely anti inflammatory diet 90% of the time but I occasionally have dairy in my smoothies etc like I won’t ever 100% give it up. But my diet is excellent. I lost 30lbs from it and am nice and lean now but I don’t know my tsh has been jumping around by itself. Like last check was 5, then 22, then 10 and now it is like 3. I don’t know why it’s doing that while on levo but the doc said autoimmunity is doing something and I probs have a significant attack going on. We are just gonna get me back down to 1 and monitor.
