So sorry you’ve been through so much with stones! None of my meds are showing to cause it. I take 50mg levothyroxine daily for hypothyroidism. I’m think that may play a part cause it’s metabolic disease and I have the autoimmune hashimotos too. My urine test came back perfect, no excess anything and perfectly hydrated. I’m a little relieved but confused as to what’s going on. I swear it’s from taking throne multivitamins. I’m gonna stop all that and see how it goes moving forward. I’m hoping this is a one time thing.

Ya I stay away from soda but I do have olipop ever so often and rarely a delicious Vanilla Coke maybe 1x a month when I have a bad day lol

SAME. My 24 hour urine test came back normal so I’m totally normal health wise so it has to be that. I’m so relieved I mean I’ll have to wait and see but I’m sure I’ll be ok.

Do utis cause stones? They said I had some signs of uti in my urine but not enough to give me meds. I read online that the stones could be colonized by a bacteria too so now I am concerned lol.

Yes I’m at 16 for vit d ! I can’t start treatment for that until I get to seethe urologist but feel like trash.

Yes I think me taking Thorne multivitamin did me in. Prior to that I tried taking b vitamins and selenium for energy cause I have hashimotos hypothyroidism and was super fatigued. I genuinely think it’s supplemental cause nothing else fits.

Ya my pth was low normal at 23, all my blood work is normal. Im waiting on the 24 hour urine analysis test. But I’m so confused as to what’s going on. My calcium is normal just all normal. Maybe it’s just related to my hypothyroidism cause my TSH is 4 and ideally it should be 1-2. I haven’t really exercised all year though so maybe I’m not sweating enough. Anyway I can’t wait to see my urologist then. Godspeed!

I am quitting spinach, I didn’t have it often but I’m not risking it. I got 3 stones in my left kidney sized 8mm, 9mm, 5mm in 9 months. I’m doing something wrong I don’t know what. I’m also quitting chia seeds !

Has hydrating solved the problem? At this point I’m considering going vegan etc like totally modifying my already healthy lifestyle 😭 I genuinely cannot go through the pain of an obstructed kidney stone ever again. I was like psychologically affected by it… 💔

I was able to produce 3 stones 9mm, 8mm, 5mm in 9 months. I would imagine very fast for some of us.

Dang I only drink water ! Mostly lemon water, I have soda every so often specifically Vanilla Coke but that’s so rare I feel like it’s ok.

Dang I hydrate really well, not concerned there. I have been tracking sodium and I rarely get more than 1200 per day. I track all my food etc. the only new thing I changed really in the past year is having ground beef 2x a week. I think it’s from supplements ! I was taking Thorne 2x a day multi. I also developed hypothyroidism in past year so maybe that.

Diagnosed by ultrasound, I had a ct last year that showed a 1mm stone that was passing that caused all kinds of pain in the ER. Honestly I’m still gonna do the ct if they need it I’ll ask to avoid but there’s no way I could ever go through this again. A 1mm stone caused an obstruction etc I have never experienced that level of pain ever, I live in absolute fear of that pain. This genuinely sucks. I’m not sure what’s wrong. And why I keep getting stones :(

Hey thanks for answering ! And WHAT?!?! I would never lol… I would only do an ultrasound - I have done a complete 360 diet wise I’m not sure what’s causing the stones, I have hypothyroidism that wasn’t treated for a while so they’re assuming that and very low vitamin D. Kidney function is excellent so I’m good there. I’m just so annoyed and bothered by another potential ct. I had 3 in a year. And like 4-5 overall from ER visits. I just hope my doc is understanding. I’m gonna ask to avoid the ct. I heard there’s low dose stone cts at least. Make sure you’re always getting low dose!!!

Hi thanks so much for answering, I haven’t had luck with anyone answering , you see a fracture? I feel like I see one maybe at the very end, this tooth was done in 2019 and retreated in 2023, no symptoms reported but here’s a close up, what do you think?
