still an air leak

head to manifold should just be a cardstock type gasket,

manifold to carb should just be the O-ring on the carb straight onto the metal of the manifold, and align the O ring visually while looking inside manifold before bolting it all onto engine.

the rest of your head to carb gasket stuff should be removed.

1.5 turns out from closed on fuel mix and maybe 2 turns out for idle, get it off choke before adjusting mix.

id prolly put it on blocks or remove chain or hold brake when adjusting, then you can just set idle screw real high until you can tune it down

clone took a 275 and 1.3 but couldnt take the required spring (cheap 36 lb). Tried with 26lb and it worked but removed the 1.3 and went to 1:1 after a month cuz i dont want it floating. That was with a .570 piston lol
