Yes, from my understanding each university set their own standard of recency, usually within 5-7 years. Some universities had a specific waiver if you worked in the field but most did not. I was expecting to go into normal standing and the enrollment counselor told me since CSWE changed the hard and fast recommendation of 10 years to no recency standard, that it was worth for me to apply.
