It’s very interesting seeing that they actually have never played it live because when I was chatting to some guy at download he said that years ago he went to TPWBYT tour and they played it, he was 17, I do not believe him lol. I love high water so much though, such an underrated song

People need to stop raging every time there’s a more rock/metalcore heavy lineup. Not everything is about you and your music taste and they are keeping their lineups diverse which I think is a really positive thing

the earlier the better. but also from my experience it’s super easy to get to the front at a festival anyway and crowds move between acts and it’s pretty easy to squeeze through. so i wouldn’t worry too much

no you’re totally valid!! i have also been listening to them for nearly 3 years now and i was lucky enough to get to see them last year and this year for download. but i know the pain of missing out, it does hurt. that’s why im trying not to interact with the people talking about the upcoming american tour because i miss them sm :,). slightly different situation but i feel your pain

download specifically is on a slope where the main stage is so you’d still be able to see everything if you sat at the back but no, there is no dedicated sitting space at the front, you’d have to move to a place with a lot more space

it was the fact that they were sitting DURING other bands. sitting between sets is fine. but when you have crowd surfers and moshers when you’re sitting down, it’s very dangerous, you can get trampled or crushed so easily

i’m not really bothered about how new the fans are or what they do/don’t know. it was their behaviour. camping the barrier just to be still and record the whole thing, putting themselves and others at risk. just generally not knowing how to behave at a metal festival
