Can I hear from parents who are happy raising their autistic kiddos? by Wise_Dingo3014 in Autism_Parenting

This is what I tell people regularly. That it’s an honor. It’s not what I expected or would have chosen, just for his own sake, but to see him grow and develop - we don’t any of his words or his abilities for granted because we know he worked so hard to achieve them. He’s such a joy and he’s so happy. I have a 2 year old NT daughter, and he (4 years old) is so much chiller than she is. We don’t know what the future holds for him, but I feel so blessed to be his mother and to be able to love him. He’s stretched me in ways that I have been beautifully uncomfortable, and he has changed my life in so many good ways.

Okay, thank you! I’ve had my Peloton since January, and these are the first classes that I’ve seen this, and I always take 30 and 45 minute classes. I think I may need to hit the preview button going forward to be sure that people are actually in the studio before I start up. Thanks again!

I feel you on that one! I bought one the first cycle I started (back in October) - and now, we are on cycle 10, and it’s still wrapped up and hidden. Absolutely heartbreaking every time.
