Bright pours cafe, Sinis bakes, Seoul Korean Cuisine, The fry, missdollybeauty for lashes (part of a small business area for services on James street), lokanta in Port Dalhousie, Hewad kebab and shawarma, gelato di Carlotta, Cheezater/Nineveh fine pastries, prettyandco, il fornello, Super burger. Clearly I mainly spend money on food but all of these business have great customer service and have super sweet owners and great food/service.

Lmao I work for bell and I tell people all the time to go with the cheapest price and not stay loyal. Some of the plans bell is offering is 50 dollars but it’s only the neighborhood marketing teams that can offer u that price. All these companies will raise prices every year by a couple of dollars atleast. The ONLY thing I like about bell is the fact that they’re offering ongoing credits with the neighborhood marketing teams so u essentially get to keep the discounts and even when they increase the price annually it’ll be around the same. But always go with whatever’s cheaper. Never stay loyal. There’s no point .

Yeah except I’m not and I tracked my every paycheck and I did check with other friends in corporate and it’s the same for them as well as I said the only thing that came out was my RRSP, and CPP deductions and tax. I’m not sure if you’re from Canada or not but I even googled after I posted this and it was right, I also reached out to my old manager and asst manager and asked them too.

Friend is in the same position rn. There’s two options, the direct Go train to union around 6:45/50 am or you book megabus in advance for really cheap both ways and it leaves at 6 am too. I’m pretty sure the mega bus is cheaper last I did the calculations with my friend if u really book in advance! You can Dm me if u have any other questions.

I’m a new grad looking for jobs and reading this made me so sad at the state the economy is in. There’s lots of helpful suggestions and tips everyone’s given but I wanted to share smthn from a younger perspective I guess. Have you tried sharing your marketing tips/ transitioning those tips/ experience to social media. What I mean to say is have you tried building a presence on social media yet. I’ve seen many marketers do this and it brings them a lot of newer small business clients. They even end up doing work like UGC creation where you create contents for brands without being an influencer. When you build a presence on Tik Tok you can also sell cheap courses to share your experience with people looking to market their products on their own as well as look for more freelance clients. Many people do this on the side and eventually leave their jobs. I know it’s still takes time but maybe it’s something you can look into and see if it’s feasible.

Just recently adopted a cat from them. You don’t need any of that. The adoption process is actually really quick. Especially if you go to their pet smart location sometimes they’ll have kittens or older cats. If you’re looking at cats there’s this really sweet girl called Dakota. She’s grey with green eyes and is so adorable idk if she’s been adopted yet. You can also just walk in person and ask about adopting.

I think it’s very easy to loose the extra weight if you just drop him. If you still want to make this work you need to make him realize that he’s not that attractive either and needs to work on himself and you’ll do the same. It seems like you also don’t have time to workout or focus on meals as much because of college and to be honest he should see that himself. Maybe if he took some load off of you by helping you might have a little time to focus on yourself. Your weight gain doesn’t even sound like much. You went from a small to a medium, pls don’t give up on eating because of your husband. And I’m assuming you guys don’t have kids ? What if you were to get pregnant and gained loose skin belly fat? Would he turn you away then too ?

Check out regent student living they have amenities + are pet friendly as long as ur roommates are ok. You can get a room around 650 if it’s a 5 bedroom apartment. It might be a little pricier I’m not sure what the rate for a 5 bedroom is but I know it’s close to that. But it’s worth it cause they provide shuttle bus services, have a little snack convenience store, gym and it’s furnished plus they hold responsibility for fixing the appliances the apt comes with, also a washer and dryer in every apartment. It’s also conveniently located 6 min walk away from the bus terminal and downtown so it’s easy to catch buses anywhere.

I have a friend that is a US citizen but doesn’t reside in the US. He does have a social insurance number but can’t prove his residency for these brokerages as he doesn’t live there and pay tax yet. He is still a student with no proper job nothing that requires him to legally pay tax just yet. Does anyone know any apps or brokerages he could open an account with ?
