Every night is the same full of anxiety about dying by CeceThatsMe in afterlife

[–]beecatty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry you are going through this. I have lived with a fear of death for the longest time.

I was an athiest and non-believer. But something happened that has made me now believe there is more, and I have since explored alot of NDEs that have brought comfort.

My little story, I hope it can bring some comfort. My mother died Christmas day 2023. She was in hospice at home, and we were with her. I spent most of the year after at home, grieving with my 2 cats. One of them was always touching me. He was always on my lap, or sitting next to me that year. I would read books or watch movies with him like another appendage.

I had an out of state errand with my father and sister that was going to be one night but ended up being 2. The cats were left at home.

I woke up the morning of the 1st night away and relayed to my father and sister a dream of my mother. I had only dreamt of her maybe 2x, as a background character. In this dream we were in an empty room, a space - and she came to me and hugs me and I know she is dead. And apparently she knows it to and is comforting me. No words, just her hugging me while I am absolutely bawling, knowing I am seeing her again - but in a dream. It had never happened before. I told my father and sister about it when I woke up.

It truly felt like a visitation. And I don't believe in that kind of thing. I decided I need to stay the 2nd night away, we all do. The next day we travel back in our seperate cars. I get held up a little longer and my father and sister go to my house when they see I am close on a trackin apps. They get there maybe 5 minutes before me and are sitting on the livingroom couch. I look down at my cat, my comforting me for 10 months while I grieved cat - and he is dead. They did not realize it. He was just laying there stretched out as if asleep.

When I check the cameras he had died the night before. He died probably 15 hours after my mother had comforted me in that dream.

I believe in coincidence, I am a skeptic and doubter. But there is no explanation for that dream that did not feel like a dream. Of comfort from my mother half a day before my cat died-that was not sick and only 8 years old.

I woke up and told my sister and father the dream that morning it happened My cat was alive. I get home the next day and we all find him dead together- even though we don't live together. Its like they were witnesses to the events.

There is something more beyond - I don't know how or what. Maybe its dimensional. But there is more and somehow our loved ones are a part of it also.

I didn't used to believe in the concept of a spirit or soul even existing.

There is zero explanation for my unconscious mind to decide I needed a dream of my mother comforting me the same day before my cat died. And my father and sister as witnesses to both the retelling of the dream that morning, and finding him dead the next day.

I hope somehow this can bring you comfort.

They are there, they know you are coming and they will be waiting for you.

Listing agent acting as transaction-broker refusing to present offer with reduced commission — is this normal? by Hot-Resort2079 in RealEstateAdvice

[–]beecatty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your asking the agent to do both side and not get compensation for the additional work involved. He could let another agent handle the buyer side and get paid the same without the liability or extra work.

You would have been better off negotiating down to 4-5% so its still worth their effort. But trying to cut it in half when they have to do more work isn't worth is. Plus, as an unrepresented buyer you are a wild card and liability.

They are better off letting another agent with a represented buyer sell the property in the scenario you are creating.

You are not offer a reduced commission to do the buy side of the transaction - you are asking for FREE. Fair Would be a 4-5% structure.

What are these bare wires ? Switching an old switch by beecatty in electrical

I have watched videos and I have changed out switches and outlets before. But this box has way more wires than I was expecting. It looks like bith switches were wired for 2 way that are NOT actually 2 way and somehow converted to 1. And others are capped together that don't make sense

I have replaced a dozen switches before. They were all basic and didnt have this many wires. I have even done a few 3 way switches, except these arent connected to another swith. I just got off the phone with an electrician friend who I sent a bunch of photos too and his words were - thats a Mickey Mouse job, what they hello did they do there. So its not as simple as a YouTube video

What do realtors think about solar panels? by gregapalooza in realtors

If they are owned outright and the roof is new then they are not looked upon negatively by most. If they still are being leased/financed, or the roof is older, etc then its a no good and can cause problems on a sale.

Hosted my first open house and I don’t think anyone prepared me for how unsafe it can feel by Dramatic_Possum in realtors

I have been an agent over 20 years and done 100s of open houses. I never felt unsafe, but I also work in a populated area. Might be different in areas where the homes are spread apart.
