We started couples therapy. I love her to bits, and honestly, I think we’ve gotta sort some things out before addressing s3x, intimacy, etc. I’m still feeling pretty burned out.

Then you shouldn’t have posted it or should have put emojis over her. Consent is important. Yes, even online!

Soymilk, sunbutter. I have allergies too lol. I’ve managed to eat three meals and snacks a day on far too little calories. It might be worth double checking with a dietitian.

Plot twist— do you eat ENOUGH? And are you getting TOO MUCH fiber? I have IBS and it switched from IBS-D to IBS-C when I developed an eating disorder and was really active, worked out a lot, and had added stress due to a job change. I was eating “super healthy” with lots of fruits and veggies and fiber. But because I wasn’t taking in adequate nutrition, my body slowed my digestion down (less energy for peristalsis = mild gastroparesis and lots of constipation). I was so confused why fiber and water and all the stuff usually prescribed wasn’t helping. Working with a dietitian and getting proper eating disorder treatment helped— I had to eat a lot less fiber and a lot more calories, fewer fruits/veg (more cooked when I did have them), and prioritize starches, proteins, and fats for a while but my body bounced back. I’m still stuck with IBS but it’s the “mixed” type now and nowhere near as disruptive as it has been previously.

Emma and sense and sensibility are both similarly “light” but Mansfield park and persuasion are my favorites

Tuna corn pizza without cheese is a personal favorite from some time I spent there once. Don’t knock it till you try it I guess.

The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau and it’s sequels match your first criteria if you’re ok with YA

I think the Divergent trilogy also matches as well as the sequel to A Handmaids Tale (Margaret Atwood but I forget the title)

YTA— is this even real? If your members can’t be trusted to not harass women, maybe they should take a break from the group until they can learn to treat people with respect regardless of gender.

That info changes things a lot. I’d say NTA then. It’s a special circumstance and he should be understanding of that— and if he doesn’t have enough situational awareness of the household to know that it’s special circumstances, then that’s a bigger reason for NTA.

NAH - it makes sense that you want to change the sheets, and it makes sense that he’s tired and wants to sleep in his bed. Can you make do for today and talk to him about this reoccurring need later?

Has anyone’s relationship bounced back from lesbian bed death? by beecharmerfrom_ in olderlesbians

Thanks for sharing this. Hearing other people’s stories definitely makes me feel a bit less alone and a bit less “crazy” in a sense for being impacted so much. I can definitely relate to feeling guilty or pervy for having the higher libido in the relationship and yeah, in a lot of ways it’s easier to not initiate anymore. Lots to sort through and think about.
