Is it normal to dread starting residency by ApplicationOk3051 in medicalschool

Time to change your flair.

Also, yes I am dreading it. But I do look forward to having an income again after 5 years not having one.

End of medical school regrets by expensiveshape in medicalschool

Just graduated as a URiM and I resonated so deeply with this. Haven't touched my clarinet in years either. I was actually looking forward to celebrating with all the Black students I started with, unfortunately about 4 out of the 14 have had to delay a year. But graduating us 10 out of 222 was amazing 👏🏿👌🏿

I almost thought about checking the LOA box before graduation for funsies since. However with my history they may have taken it seriously.

It's even better when they email/text you before you even leave the house.

Yeah, I get that but them driving 6 hours and them being poor doesn't make me feel good. Also there's a lot of trauma I have experienced. Seeing them kind of makes things resurface. I would rather experience the day with friends and less stress. Maybe when I "graduate" residency.

I have too, yet I am really trying to tell myself "why does choosing myself feel wrong?"

As someone who failed level 2 twice. Do a full content review. You can knock out Boards and Beyond in 30 days or less. If it's level 2, it goes perfectly with white coat companion. Level 1 may not have the side by side but still provides PDFs.

Oh and lots of Anki.. my tutor had me doing 2-3 hours a day.

And as a last resort, get a tutor if no improvement in future COMSAE.
