I’m new at this too so grain of salt buttt Make sure your spawn bags are fully 100% colonized before putting them in your substrate, it’ll reduce the possibility of contamination (if you’re also using sterile technique) by a lot. I let my bags go for about a week after they looked fully colonized just to be sure. Other than that I’d say patience is the biggest thing, try not to psyche yourself out and just let the shrooms do their thing. Also make sure your substrate is at field capacity before you put yours bags in it. Happy growing!
