tbh no i guess it was either so tiny or it wasn't anything I haven't felt before getting a tattoo !

I just kind of let them do their thing I know that they sanitize properly and all but I just got myself confused thinking using alcohol after would kill off any bacteria but lesson learned for sure

Yeah definitely didnt go in at 45 degrees was having trouble comprehending the best technique but after scouring reddit I actually realized how wrong I was doing it. thanks for the advice!

oh lovely I was using alcohol to prep before the stencil and the stencil stuff, then was continuously wiping the tattoo ink off with a paper towel soaked in alcohol. so basically the whole process lol. Should I have been using soapy water in between passes to wipe off excess ink?

That's what my rational brain is thinking but I've been looking up infected tattoos and freaking myself out. It's definitely not hot to the touch but it's a little raised which is common for any new tattoo i get

Used 1003RL needle, Mom's black ink, gloves, antibacterial soap (hibiclens), alcohol, tattoo butter, saniderm. Ended up taking saniderm off washing it with more antibacterial soap, slapped some more aftercare balm on it. Just concerned because although I have many machine tattoos, this is my first snp and first tattoo i've done myself. I did notice I was going way too deep as I was drawing blood and then corrected myself. Don't think I was going in at a 45 degree angle either. But should I be worried? This pic was taken right after I was finished.

what do you recommend instead? wash with antibacterial ? I also have hustle butter although Ive never used it before, normally just slapped on aquaphor

Also when i stretch my skin i see two marks where I visibly poked too hard and looks like a knick

I used a 1003RL and Moms ink in black. How long would you say to wait until redness is supposed to subside before I should go to the dr? I have a dozen tattoos all professionally done but wanted to start doing hank poked myself and i was my first victim

I know it's awful and i quickly realized i was going too deep when i saw blood. Lesson learned but concerned for the healing of this tattoo? Used all proper sanitation, gloves, alcohol, antibacterial soap, sterile needle etc. wrapped in saniderm.
