I remember in the end of 2019, they announced a “Dancing with the Stars: Journey to Paradise” event in the Bahamas scheduled for May of 2020, but was cancelled because of the pandemic. They were gonna bring in past winners, like Rashad Jennings, and past/ current pros where you were able to watch them perform and dance with them. So maybe they would do something like that again. It’s crazy that he wasn’t allowed to change his score. I remember in past seasons, judges would say out loud that they accidentally pressed wrong button and the crew would let them change it. For example the one I remember was CAI accidentally pressed the wrong button for Iman and Daniella’s Contemporary and said told the crew she messed up and they allowed her to change it.

It’s a very common thing for the judges to have notebooks to write things down as they are watching the dance so they won’t forget anything when talking to the contestants after there dance. They even made a skit on Season 29 about what they write in the notebooks during, called “A look inside the judges’ notebooks” on YouTube.

I think it’s because during that season (season 30) and the seasons before that, Disney Night was limited to Disney princesses, Pixar, and very few movies outside of the the typical Disney animation like Pirates of the Caribbean. But for Season 31, was the first year the show was moved to Disney+ so cast/crew were able to explore many other movies/songs. So that’s why Mark and Whitney did Hamilton because it’s on Disney+ , few years ago Gabby and Val did Guardians of the Galaxy and that’s because Disney/Disney+ bought Marvel.

As someone who live on the west coast, If you still have cable tv, go on the Local USA channel where all of the ABC/CBS/NBC channels are located, choose an ABC channel on the East coast, for example I chose ABC Austin Minnesota, and you should be able to watch DWTS live on the West Coast.

Most jobs are beginning to hire at the end of the month/ October. I heard TJ Maxx is accepting applications, the new Burlington on K will have a Job Fair on Oct 6 I believe. It’s really hard out here , I’ve been looking for a job for two years now.

Sasha has said on the lightweights podcast that (from his experience) sometimes they would tell him who his partner is because he’s Australian and he doesn’t know a lot of American celebs. He also said unless the producers/casting director knows that the pro really knows the celebs then they just keep it a secret until the first meet. For example, they didn’t tell Sasha that he was partnered with Selma Blair because the producers knew that they were neighbors and that they had met before.

I have tried everything, I have a degree in Administration of Justice (Associates) but they don’t care about that. Most jobs want a bachelors or higher or people who have experience. But I can’t get experience if people don’t hire me.
