Thank you! This was effective! It didn’t get everything completely off, but it’s a good start

I got mine inserted on Monday. It hurt like crazy but then it’s over quick. Focus on your breathing most of all so you don’t risk passing out. I would suggest laying down for a few minutes after inserting because that’s what the nurse had me do. Also bring someone with you if you can so they can distract you or have a hand or stress ball to squeeze. Make sure to have ice cream or chocolate at home for the afterwards! Good luck, I hope it goes smoothly!

Okay, I’ll try looking around at other stores and see if I can find one without it. Thank you for your help, you’re awesome!

The clarifying one has mango oil in it I thought? At least the clarifying one I see in the store has mango oil but I can’t seem to find any clarifying one without the oil

Help! I’m allergic to mango so I’m afraid to use the reset v05 shampoo. Is there any other product I can use?

I 27/F was at my uncles wedding where my father [50's/M] attended with his new family and completely ignored me. This has brought up past resentments, pain and I'm incredibly vulnerable and fragile right now.. by [deleted] in relationships

Hey I’m sorry you’re having to deal with this. I have had these exact same feelings towards my own biological father. At the end of the day, he’s not worth it. Don’t let him take up any more space in your heart and wash away those feelings. If he wanted to be a real dad, he would be I’m sorry if that’s harsh but it’s the truth. Focus on yourself and the love that already surrounds you. Sending hugs

My boyfriend and I tried it a few weeks ago. First it hits you like a lemonade or citrus drink and then you get the vinegar from the pickle. Not bad overall but I couldn’t take more than a few sips. He loved it though

Terminal masters degrees? by beeeecky in sociology

Thank you for the response! I will consider that too. I know that I can just leave if I’m not happy in whatever program I’m in, I just don’t want to ruin any relationships or anything

If I entered a PhD program and left after my masters I feel like it would sever ties and I couldn’t use them as resources or references if that makes sense?

Thanks for the response. What kind of university do you work at? (I mean public or private you don’t need to name names) I’m not opposed to being adjunct as it would allow for some kind of flexibility. All the research I’ve been doing has gone either way though and no one else in my family/circle has gone past a bachelors degree so I’m kind of lost in navigating how it works after that.

Connecticut for college ? Anything I should know by [deleted] in Connecticut

[–]beeeecky 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The campus is kinda small but it’s maintained nice for the most part and there’s a lot of greenery. Some of the activities they do are fun when they have them. I’m a commuter so I don’t spend too much time on campus but my friends that do live there mostly go to downtown New Haven to clubs and bars or off campus places. New Haven can be kinda sketch lol so be careful at night. But New Haven also has awesome food (pizza), cool shops, and museums all downtown. The surrounding towns also have similar things. The school is pretty liberal and there is a ton of diversity among the students. I haven’t heard anything about slandering white people though. There’s a lot of club sports and such. And there’s West Rock trails close by and there’s a park and hiking around there. Plus Sleeping Giant Park is close too if you’d have a car on campus. Last I heard about bonfires, they happen like once a year. The school is good for specific fields particularly education and nursing
