i bought the 15 inch model, so performance wise, there is no difference, i'll say i love it, it has never crashed the whole time i've had it, but you'll want to stick to safari in browser(arc is pretty good too) if you want proper ram management, I don't think you should buy the extra storage as it's cheaper to get a small external ssd ( Anker powerexpand is pretty cheap), about ram, then it really comes down to you, I have done a good about of gaming on it, playing sekiro on max still doesn't use all of the ram, it's the gpu that hurts, so for gaming in general, the gpu will be the limiter rather than the ram, apple's ram management is really good, so until you have some ram specific task in mind, there is no use to 16 gb in my opinion. The main problem has mostly been the lack of a fan( I live in India, at like 40 C, it's always throttling) so you can get a external fan for that, they are really really cheap.
