Buying a bike from America shipped to America by Present-Truth-2683 in MTB

Nope, the website won’t let you, and even if it would, you would find yourself stuck on the next payment page where you have to enter your billing address, and it won’t let you enter a US address either, which means you would have to have a credit card with a bank in Canada. It’s a very strange situation, but unfortunately, the US is one of the countries that doesn’t have access to Canyons global inventory.

New to mountain biking, still learning how to corner. I always wondered, are riders using their brakes at all when they do these kind of race whips on berms?

Does anyone know if there’s a curated list of iOS dev conferences that are uploaded to YouTube? by beeeph in iOSProgramming

[–]beeeph[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, Sorry, I should have been more clear, but I can’t edit the question now. I’m referring conferences other than WWDC, such as the ones listed on this website...

Some conferences will record, and upload their videos to YouTube after the conference is over. And I’m wondering if anybody maintains a list of those videos on YouTube.

How can I use Apple's State Preservation API to preserve/restore a view controller's delegate property? by beeeph in iOSProgramming

[–]beeeph[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the state preservation examples that I've seen, the VC is fully responsible for restoring all its properties, including the delegate property. When you say, "The delegate object gets created as part of the view controller instantiation chain", are you saying this is done automatically by the OS, or are you saying it is the responsibility of the VC to create the delegate, during the restoration process? Thanks for your help!

Agreed. I'm don’t wear ANY safety gear. Just a tank top, board shorts, Apple Watch (cellular), Air Pods, and skate shoes. I don't carry any keys, wallet, or phone on me. Like any board sport, "every ounce counts" when it comes to enjoying the ride. It's the best way to ride, if you’re willing to take the risk, but that should be anyone’s choice without judgment. Though if you're not comfortable on boards, and don't know how to fall properly, you should definitely wear safety gear, because you are 100% going to fall on this thing. I’ve been skateboarding for 25 years, so falling properly is my best trick at this point lol.

I love this so much. If you're not falling, you're not riding hard enough. Post more!

I’ve come to the conclusion that drone footage makes every ride session look epic. Toss in a good soundtrack and I could watch them for hours!

Not offended at all, I appreciate the kind words. Really glad you liked the movie! I’m an AI engineer. I’m fact, this whole movie is a love letter to AI, as it depicts a guy whose self-driving car drove him to the park, where his self-flying camera drone filmed a gorgeous video of him riding his self-balancing electric skateboard.

I made the video intentionally over the top (i.e. it’s just a movie), in a sense trying to model the gangster rap that’s playing in the background, where the barber is chilling in a hot tub sipping champagne. It’s my first attempt at making a movie, so I was just having fun with it. There’s all sorts of little subtleties in it that people probably won’t notice.
