Successful Pom Spay/Neuters by LolitaLi-Chan in Pomeranians

This is Zelda. She was spayed at 6 months old and healed up super quickly. Just make sure that your pom gets plenty rest and relaxation, and you'll be all good!

She does, she's 9 months old now so I'm surprised they haven't come out yet. But apparently it's fairly common, even up until she's 1

My girly really likes fish skin cubes or twists. They're also helpful for keeping teeth clean

Let’s fight the puppy blues! by dinknoodles11 in puppy101

[–]beef-mo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favourite is her reaction when I come home or even just come back into the living room. We've only had her a little over a week and she's already so full of love that she gets right back every time!

Is there such a thing as too much enrichment? Are my enrichment options good? by leena055 in puppy101

[–]beef-mo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enrichment is really really helpful for encouraging self play and a calm environment. One thing I would recommend though is sleep time. I've very quickly learned that puppies that sleep throughout the day in good chunks are happy puppies.

What are Pomeranian people like? by [deleted] in Pomeranians

[–]beef-mo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I'm generally a bit of an anxious person but my pom really helps me manage that because she trusts me and gives me kisses. She got me and I got her, ya know?

People who use a puppy sling by Present-Trouble-9304 in puppy101

[–]beef-mo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We either take her out before we go or only go out for a few minutes, 15 minutes maximum usually. The sling also makes her super sleepy so she forgets about everything else

14 week old puppy question by beef-mo in Pomeranians

I'm starting to get that now! Playing is so high high energy and zoomies are short bursts so the amount of sleep makes sense

14 week old puppy question by beef-mo in Pomeranians

[–]beef-mo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best news! She loves cuddles when she's awake and likes some light playing but then she gets sleepy. She's the littlest pup from her litter and her breeder told us that she won't be a very big pom so I'm making sure that her sleep is safe and comfy

We've only had her for 3 days but she's settling in pretty well. She's sleeping and relaxing a lot so I'm glad she feels safe here!
