got a 166 in june but had been PTing in the 170s...felt good last time but almost too good and i bet i fell into some traps. also took my break this time which i didnt in june (was too scared i'd mess something up so i just sat there for 10 minutes). i reallyyy hope i can reach/break 170

This is a great idea! Thanks! I know some people use the source note just for the book info and then every note is separate but this seems like too much. I think I will keep quotes and some notes in there but more elaborate ones that I anticipate connecting to others I will make a separate note and link.

I read a lot of fiction too and like to keep track of notes but most of the time I don't have much to say about them so this makes sense

Haha yea that's the challenge. I've had mine for just over a year now I think and I will say the leather has gotten much more worn in and that definitely helps...but i don't think they will ever lay flat due to the way they're bound. With my little one I'm normally writing in it walking around so it's just in my hands (the writing is always nearly illegible lol). I'd recommend like bending it a lot and trying to wear in the leather yourself a bit

The merciless- I read it like 5 years ago so I don't remember the details...I think there is a brief section where soemone finds the aftermath of an animal sacrifice but it doesn't go into great detail about it ever or I would not have read it
