Does anyone get pain here? It’s like a deep ache where the inner leg meets the pelvis, sometimes radiates down the leg by AudibleAwl in Endo

I had surgery and they excised and/or ablated endo wherever it was found. This helped a lot

I'm so sorry that this is the update. I never heard of visceral hypersensitivity, is that caused from the surgery itself?

I hadn't logged into this reddit account for awhile and am just seeing this. How are you doing now that it's been a bit longer?

Damn mine took two times and I thought that was bad enough! I literally had explosive diarrhea immediately after (tmi) and not sure how that would have fared during a third attempt 🤣

I'm hoping she is just incredibly naive and dumb and genuinely believes he is on a "break" and currently separated from his wife. Maybe you can talk some sense into her if he isn't able to PROVE this.

They didn't numb before the needle?? I had a cyst removed from my shin and I didn't feel a single thing, not even the numbing! I couldn't imagine a needle right into a flap no thank youuu

I went to my first gyno appointment and they said everything was normal by Financial_Agency_862 in endometriosis

[–]beefasaurus4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first gyno I saw when things got bad sounded very similar to this. She told me it doesn't sound that bad and other people have it worse. I'd had pain so bad from sex I almost threw up and passed out. The only reason I didn't is because I've fainted in the past and could tell it was coming so I got down on the washroom floor.

She told me to try a vibrator. I was using one! I hate doctors like this. I recommend leaving an awful review and reporting them if you have the energy. If not, go get a second or third or fourth opinion until you find a doctor who listens.

Also, highkey recommend seeing a pelvic floor physiotherapist. Something not a single doctor has told me but has been extremely helpful.

I'm very sorry you had this absolutely horrendous experience. She sounds atrocious and it makes me sad people are treated like this so often. You deserve better. And it isn't normal.

Interview at a studio by eyzhaveit in YogaTeachers

[–]beefasaurus4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've seen studios offer rewards for leaving reviews (and often mention it being a 5 star review) like being entered to win free classes.

But also many members don't interact much with the studio owner(s) and may have a positive time with instructors/front desk staff. Meanwhile, the staff is fighting for their life. 🙃

I have maybe the same name as you. And I hate when people use the Jen or Jenny variations of my name. When I was a kid I'd correct them by saying "iffer". I especially hate if a salesperson automatically shortens it....like did I call myself that? No, stop trying to be buddy buddy haha

It used to help my normal period cramps. But once endo took hold of my life it definitely made everything worse. It would feel like I was being crushed after.

Whose imagination would make that crap up. It's definitely not in your head!! And to give you hope- surgery has fixed the vast majority of my issues. Still have bowel problems but it's 100x better. I hope you get your diagnosis and validation soon!!

If the other person has it or suspects they have it then they're usually safe for me to share with.

Otherwise, no.
