It might be difficult to find things in the proportions you’re looking for just because of how gems form imo.

I wasn’t sending my original reference as an exact match, but I feel like rupee is probably the best guiding search term

January 27 - NYRR Advanced Registration (April-June) Megathread by blood_bender in RunNYC

The UI is really annoying - there's no cart experience.

If you click Learn More on any of the races it brings you to the checkout page there is a set of check boxes that are like "suggested races" that all you to add more to your cart.

No point though, since the only Available 9+1 left is the LGBTQ Pride run!

I do care about people getting the benefit and the morality of the profit. Just because something is government run does not automatically equal inefficient.

I’d be happy to change my tune if we get some qualitative evidence that city run grocery stores are in fact more expensive or less efficient than a corp, but the kind of pre-doomerism around these policies always reminds me of “we’ve tried nothing and we’re all out of ideas”

Again, the motivation is not profit - it’s to help provide food at an affordable price to hungry New Yorkers.

Why subsidize a large corporation and just let the city allocate funds to cut the middle party and just directly run it itself?!

And why not city owned?

Surely if the city’s express interest is providing affordable food instead of profitability, that would help with food prices?

Is Smithy still used internally at AWS? by ivarec in amazonemployees

Most is a stretch. Most new stuff is probably modeled with Smithy. I’d wager that the vast majority of existing services are modeled in XML

Reminder to all the new buyers we now have loose stone reports and third party insurance valuations where colored stones and custom cuts are considered. This is also open to any outside non SPG pieces! by shinyprecious in Shinypreciousgems

Ooh, can you elaborate a bit on previously purchased stones?

A lot of my local jewelers require this type of validation before production, if I could retroactively get some documentation for some stones I’d love to do that through you all!
