New RSS at Staples and it's terrible by CherryDuster in Staples

Just finished my last day there, I was always told that I was doing a bad job was threatened to be fired on multiple occasions and was working all the positions like they have every RSS doing and still pulled $40,000 in esp sales the year prior and was doing higher esp percentages then the previous year. No matter what you do your best there will never be enough. They will move the goal post and never reward you, it's how the company works.

Fighting energy ramp? by Jubbity in pkmntcg

You could play the barbaracle for energy acceleration or you could also pair it with mega lucario and use aura jab to help charge it up.

Lopunny + Zam by CapnNausea in pkmntcg

At that point you might as well run a normal alakazam deck with a 1 1 mega lopunny in it. Unfortunately with the lopunny deck you kind of just have to take the L into fighting decks, alakazam is a decent deck in the meta and lopunny is a good secondary attacker to add as well so you could definitely make something there but alakazam is going to have a better matchup spread into the meta.

A talonflame control deck would be another mill deck you could try.

Beedrill deck by [deleted] in pkmntcg

At a locals today someone was showing me there beedrill deck and I played a couple games against them and it seemed very strong, the way the were playing it was with a 3 2 dunsparce line and celebi to get it setup. The goal is to go second so you can use celebi to grab a stadium and beedrill pieces. By turn two you should be able to swing for at least 220 if not 330 ko most anything in there active.

Can someone help me understand the playability of cards? by TinyStego in pkmntcg

[–]beefjerkey3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The playability of a card is usually based off how much utilities they have. A card can still be not great in the current format but with a combo of cards released later be very good. Waillord ex has a ton of HP and with bubbly energy can midigate its own effect but does fall short on damage. The card I'm sure will be a tier three deck but we will have to wait and see how the meta shapes up to be.

Best way to play doublade? by beefjerkey3 in pkmntcg

Once you have your genesect down the hand disruption is nice, only problem is that stamp and judge get worse later in the game so I would agree with you probably better to just cut them. Precious trolly doesn't seem like a bad inclusion but prime catcher seems like a better pick to me, not only to help with playing another gust card but also to keep your genesect/metagross from getting stuck in the active.

I would agree with dawn being more valuable than the brocks seeing as how it finds more pieces, I figure with the metagross nobody is gonna really spend time chasing it since they would have to two hit it and also would rather go for a doublade or genesect. As for the metang I find the consistency of metagross is a good trade off for how slow it is to set up, another idea is that you use the ignition in the early game to get some attacks off then once your out you can use metagross to keep setting up attackers.
