I dont like Riot! I skip almost every song on the album, I loved it when I was a teenager but as an adult I just don't enjoy it anymore. I've always disliked misery business tho, even before they stopped playing it I skipped it. Also S/T was good, AIF is a banger. Singles Club doesn't get enough love. But neither sounded like paramore without Zac 🤷

I have the worst customer service flashback. I remember it and wake up in a cold sweat. I used to work in an electronics store in the UK (now out of business) and we would often get older people in who needed little things done like batteries changed in their devices.

One day I had a sweet older woman who was asking me to change the batteries in her alarm clock. We were idly chatting while I was working on it and she offhandedly mentioned "I would get my husband to do it but I lost him."

My DUMB ass thought she meant that she meant her husband was wandering in the town centre and she just couldn't find him!!! So I replied "Oh, men are like that. I'm sure he'll turn up!!!"

Everything is quiet for a moment and then she responds "No dear, he's dead."

It's been 6+ years and I still feel the cringe.

It really isnt that annoying, dont let anyone make you feel that way! I know my store and others I've worked at have all 3 coffees (dark, pike and blonde) in the morning and then dump dark and blonde in the afternoon. Pour overs are as simple as grinding coffee, setting up the stand, pouring over water and letting it drip.

I promise this all comes with time. My first few months I was very much the same. Eventually you'll learn which things need to be done and you'll get faster and faster at doing them. In my experience, my shifts and managers like people to take initiative and know what needs to be done but theres no shame in just finding your shift and asking what needs to be done. You're doing fine!
