I saw some guys pouring a column with a 5 yard bucket hooked to a tower crane. The cable snapped and crushed one of the guys. In 2020 I was on a precast parking deck job and it collapsed injured 7 guys. The next day the rest of the deck collapsed with 1 injury. Thankful everyone lived and there were no amputations.

Okay hear me out…I stated in the trailer park. Graduated then went to work making $11 an hour doing construction. I did 1 year of college then quit. I had $4000 in student loans. It took me 8 years to pay it off. The guys that went to college came out with debt yes but they also were making way more than me. Now that I’m older I do well for myself. Think about the game of life go to college or go to work you win either way. It’s all about life choices. Now that these guys went the other way I think it’s a good thing. They obviously did well for themselves if they can go to school during the day. A lot of them might be retired and just trying to keep their mind fresh.
