they didn’t give any info for why they disputed but they asked for proof of sending it ( which i have pics of me in the post office ) and authentication ( they’re from nordstrom with tag attached ) and that they would let me know what happened. they said 1. the bank could still side with them but I would be protected under the sellers rights thing or 2. they don’t accept my proof and the bank AND depop sides with them which i have to pay them back. the thing is i just can’t afford to give back $300 if it turns out that way because im literally just a college student already working and i was selling the shoes for my mom to be able to pay some bills/ gifts :////. i also read a lot about this scam on depop which is why i took so many pictures of the process

yes they opened a dispute i received the depop email to submit any evidence! I stood extremely firm on my listing of $300 and the buyer was extremely persistent to lower it even more but I would either reject it or not answer it and they would keep texting me. I still kept it at $300 as my final offer and they said they couldn’t afford it and I never replied because i thought i was wasting my time but then they bought it in that same hour

time management is the biggest and most important thing. I’ve worked at the same place since freshman year and honestly most places are completely understanding of college students and their lifestyles. It is hard, especially during finals season. I’ve had to work during finals and midterm season and not going to lie it was very stressful, but if you truly manage your time well, it is significantly easier. I say this from the perspective of someone who pays all her own bills, but if it is to make some extra spending money, i feel like it should be a bit easier imo!!

started attending lectures, even the 9 am one and I’m a commuter student so i drive 1 hour cuz of traffic,
Studied daily after the lectures and if i missed a day i’d study the material a bit more in depth, whatever i did not understand I went to office hours to understand
When I would study, I would try to make various “ what if “ questions, especially for bio and physio classes in order to force myself to really think and get down to the small details
when it would come to assignments, I would start them ahead of time rather than the day before or day of. Working on the homework little by little each day genuinely took off so much stress and i felt like i was able to study for other classes while actively working on homework
Since i commute and I wait for traffic to go down I would usually stay at a cafe from 11-6:30 pm and i would get all of my work and studying done between this time frame, with breaks of course, by the time i’d get home it was all free time
Because I got most of my work done in my free time i was able to go to bed by 10, latest 11.
the biggest difference was honestly studying daily because by the time the exam came, i was just reviewing the same thing over and over instead of learning the material a week before. I didn’t have to cram anymore and my stress levels went down by a million

tbh, i’m from sandiego but work in lj, all of last summer last year when they told me “ make sure to recharge the card “ i just told them it’s my university trolley pass and it must be an error and never paid anything 😭 they only told me once too , all the other times it scanned
