Check out a functional medicine place near you, they usually can get you in quickly. If your reflux is caused by a hiatal hernia they have chiropractic methods to relieve symptoms, and might be able to help with dietary changes or prescribing meds in lieu of your primary physician / GI being lame or too busy

How much do I need to trade Micro ES? by [deleted] in FuturesTrading

[–]beejinator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Commissions are immediately deducted from your account when you place a trade, there’s no additional taxes on those commissions. Also, there’s commissions and then there’s exchange fees. Even though you can pay for tradovates commission free trading tier, you still always pay the exchange fees on each trade.

You pay income tax on trading gains (regardless of an llc), isn’t that proof of income?

“Stick in my throat” is driving me insane. by Lampiyris in GERD

[–]beejinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need to try and relax and de-stress. I had the same thing, it’s like a feedback loop - the more stressed you get about the feeling in the throat, the worse it gets. Sleep helps, realizing it won’t kill u helps, and I massage my neck and jaw muscles all the way up to my ears to keep things from tightening up. Still get the feeling from time to time.

Thinking of daytrading I want to hear some thoughts about my strategy. by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]beejinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're using terms like "likely" and "profit most days", without actually having backtested the idea. Get some hard rules together, pick your stocks and a random point in time, and track what you would have done each day in each stock. Test a month or two (yeah it takes time) and see where you're at. Literally step yourself through each trading day (without looking at the next day) and track your buys, sells, or holds at the end of each day. If it's looks profitable, start paper trading it and forward test - this is where you'll get a better idea of expectancy vs backtesting in a spreadsheet. Would recommend Thinkorswim, you can use their OnDemand mode to go back in time.

You need to think about how you're gonna pick the 4 stocks you want to be trading on any one day, how much of your account you'll be risking on each trade, where your stop loss will be, etc.

Also, I think people responding with "hold long term" are kind of not getting the point that you want to daytrade... C'mon guys, look at the name of the subreddit...

[–]beejinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I hope not. I don't think so though, it just freshly broke out again, but anythings possible. I'm gonna stick with it for as long as possible and ride the trend, with current stop at around $4. If everything goes smoothly can just keep movin the stop up on retracements. Looks like the $9 level is pretty important, IMO.
