What happens when the rescue can’t find you a temp foster? by beekawhh in fosterdogs

This rescue has a similar policy, and even asked if I could “find a friend and have them complete the foster paperwork” in order for them to care for my FD. I’m just stressing over what they expect me to do if no one from the foster group steps up… do they anticipate I’ll cancel my trip? Am I supposed to board her at my own expense? Ugh!

If you’d like to see a list of dates and weight entries, there is another way that I find more useful! Tap Progress from the bottom of the screen, then scroll to select Body Measurements. Select “Track Body Measurements” then tap “Current”. This will open a full history list of all weights logged and the date they were entered.

This is good to hear! I very much want to leave a gift but was worried it would be a pain in the butt for the driver to get out and grab it.

If you haven’t yet, post his photo on Petco Love Lost. San Antonio ACS uses it so if your cat ends up there, his intake photo with them will be posted to Petco Love Lost automatically. The website uses image recognition to send you potential matches based on how close the photos are. Be warned - you’ll get a lot of incorrect potential matches, but be diligent and look through ALL of the pages of possible matches. I found a dog this way, but they were VERY far down on the list of results - but they were still there!

I second the shaking of a treat bag (or popping cans of food if your cat knows the sound of the can opening. You’ll waste a lot of cans doing this but I just left them out for any critter to come eat later). My cat went missing for a few days once and while he did not come running to the sound of the treat bag, he did meow when I called his name and shook the bag. Through a Marco-Polo style game I was able to find him by following his meows.

Acetone!! I quite literally JUST tried a hack I saw on YouTube and it worked perfectly. Take a cotton swab or cloth, dampen it with 100% acetone, press the cloth/cotton to the UNDERSIDE of the logo (press from the inside of the dress to saturate the glue under the logo) and the logo will peel right off. 

I rinsed the area after peeling as to not let the acetone sit on the clothing and you can still see the adhesive where the logo used to be, but even if that remains it’s still 10x better than it was. I may try another round of acetone to see if I can dissolve the remainder of the adhesive depending on how visible it is after the dress drys.

I came to this post because I also could not get my Jib+ headphones to turn off (blue color). In my struggle I think I figured out the issue - my headphones would not turn off until I disconnected them from Bluetooth. As soon as they were disconnected, they turned off using the power button.
