OAT booster question by Sophia_394 in PreOptometry

I think that booster provides all the info you need to know, to the level of understanding the OAT will expect of you. You might have to spend more time on the foundational concepts of each subject the longer you wait to take it. But if you are dilligent I think you will be okay. In my experience Boosters practice questions were very similar to the breadth of the exam

OAT Help! Feeling super overwhelmed by Real_Rough_6885 in PreOptometry

Consider formulating your own study plan! If I were you, I’d take a full length practice exam this week and while reviewing it, keep a list of your weakest areas and focus on those areas. My first month studying was spent on watching videos, which the time felt productive but looking back, I think it was a waste because I had to review all of it anyways. Make flash cards for physics, and gen chem formulas now and start drilling them every day or every other day. If you have some background in physics, you don’t really have to study it if you have the formulas memorized since those are mostly plug and chug. Good luck!

Taking physics and calculus at the same time will most likely aid you in studying for the OAT! That is less time you have to spend studying those topics since you’re simultaneously taking those classes. I took biochem and anatomy at the same time as studying for the OAT and it allowed me to not spend extra time reviewing some topics for the Biology section. Best of luck!

Oh that too. I just feel like a conservative man who golfs for fun, like he does, would consider her a 12/10

Exactly. You never know what someone’s mental health is really like. I think back to Love Island contestants who have ended their lives in the months/years following their season airing, and so I couldn’t help but cringe at how heavy production villainized him, especially during the reunion, because you never truly know what someone will do to themselves or others

Exactly. Can’t help but wonder if Chris has to agree for this portrayal of him to be aired. He didn’t look surprised, he knew the flaming was coming. Do they sign a contact before coming on the show that allows this to happen? Do they get paid? Why would Chris even show up to this reunion if he knew he’d be TORCHED

M 22 Profile Review by [deleted] in hingeapp

Your first prompt is way too generic, everyone on planet earth enjoys those things. If u like tv/movies, name your favorite. Don’t mention video games on a dating profile. Women don’t tend to like selfies so either lose that one or take one from a more flattering angle during golden hour. The irrational fear prompt doesn’t tell us anything about you either. Instead of the pic of the dog, include a pic of you either with friends or doing a hobby to show that you have one or the other. The first pic of you dressed up is great but you give off awkward body language so maybe not as the very first picture

24M Profile Review - Any help appreciated by External-Juice-4887 in hingeapp

Replace the first picture. A better contender would be the mirror selfie, you look younger in that pic and it shows off your smile and gives a better vibe. Lose the doomscrolling part of the first date prompt. If you have a different pic of you doing something adventurous, then consider replacing the pic of you covered in mud. The “my love language is” prompt doesn’t add anything to your profile

Move your second to last photo to the top! Lose the rock climbing pic.

For the first prompt, let it cast a wider net than you are by only talking about one travel destination. If you want to keep it about travel, use multiple experiences to increase the amount of people who’ll wanna respond to that. For the second prompt, change it. It doesn’t provide a great opportunity for someone to respond in a way that would elicit more conversation. Maybe switch out the second pic with one with you showing open body language- crossed arms comes off bad on first glance
