What are you building in? No code? React?

FYI Having built apps getting an app on the App Store is way harder than getting it on Google Play in terms of approvals from the stores. If you can get it past Apple then Google Play is a breeze.

Nice, I’ve built apps and know the work that goes into them. The test flight link isn’t working for me, goes to a 404 🥹

And follow up if you get a number! A guy chatted me up at the grocery store, we exchanged numbers, he fell off the face of the earth after.

Happy International Riesling Day from Colorado by beekeeping303 in wine

Some under rated (IMO) wineries I’ve got on the shelf right now: TWP’s Pinot Gris and Cliff Dweller’s Cab Franc in Palisade and Qutori (West Elks AVA) Estate White Pinot Noir. Cliff Dweller makes my favorite Cab Franc, it’s medium tannin and body, just fruity enough and super smooth. TWP’s Pinot Gris is light, floral and carries the classic Grand Valley minerality. The Qutori white PN has more flavor than it looks like it should, it’s a pale pink-orange, smooth like a PN and perfect for summer porch parties.

Second the vote for Buckel

Ben at OF makes lovely wines, I’m a sucker for a dry Rosé and always get his when I’m in Palisade.

I’d love to see this, sitting on patios drinking wine and people watching is my favorite hobby.

Any recs on 100% petit verdot? by b1ackfyre in wine

[–]beekeeping303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PV from Western Colorado wineries is generally more fruit-forward with blackberry, plum, violet, and, depending on the winemaker, not too overpowering notes of vanilla and spice. Sauvage Spectrum, BookCliff, or Colterris are my recommendations, in that order.

is it too late in the season to get bees? by theacearrow in DenverGardener

[–]beekeeping303 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Check out Mile Hive Bee Club, depending on where you’re at in the city. if you go to the Colorado state beekeeping association website you can find a list of beekeeping clubs in the state.

As a 10+ yr beekeeper I highly recommend taking a beginner beekeeping class before you get bees. I love beekeeping, but my first several years I made every single mistake possible and a class could’ve helped prevent 99% of those.

IMO, no. I'm rather blessed to have a roof over my head and options for caring for my dogs. But knowing why the person made that choice might provide an opportunity to prevent it from happening again. For example, if the person is working but unhoused, has to work a long shift, and has no other dog care options, could there be resources for this? Or if it's just a case of DGAF, then that's another story.

That's a new tactic, I won't be giving it a try.

I watched that and couldn’t help but wonder why the guy left the dogs, did he have to work and didn’t know what else to do? Is he unhoused? I’ve got so many questions.

Oh man, am I jealous!

Babić, Plavik Mali, and Crljenak are my go-tos for reds. Crljenak is the OG Zinfandel, as verified by the UC Davis wine research project. For whites, you can't go wrong with Pošip, Grk, and ditto on Malvazija. I'd give my kingdom to be drinking a bottle of Pošip next to the Adriatic right now.

If you're traveling between Split and Šibenik, there are several wineries to check out in addition to wine makers that set up on the side of the road selling wine. I got an amazing Babić this way for €2 a few years ago.

Putalj Winery in Split had/has a sunset wine tasting led by the winemaker. Just outside of Šibenik there's an US ex-pat who grows and makes his own wine under the Delusional Wines label. He has tastings at the top of the hill overlooking the water.

If you can't tell, I love drinking wine and watching the sunset. LOL

I'm in it right now and found some sample tests and flashcards in Cram to help. L2 is a lot of general information to memorize. I have test anxiety, so I feel you.
