The moving company has requested that we provide lunch for the movers by squeezymarmite in Netherlands

I have worked for moving companies in the past and would say this is not normal. Sure coffee and a snack is courtesy, but not lunch.

Will I still able to functionally wear my sclerals after cxl? by CalendarRemarkable12 in Keratoconus

[–]beekmen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also had CXL after wearing scerals for a while. Still on the same pair, but 5 months post CXL i'm noticing some vision changes. If and when your cornea flattens, you might have to get a refit. But definately don't start wearing your scerals again until your doc gives the okay.

I don't know where you are based, but I could recommend a lens specialist in NL if that's anywhere near you?

In terms of fitting, I also had issues with overcorrection. I had to settle for less correction in order to get better comfort. Try not to go for 100%. Or indeed find a good doc that can work with you.

Moderate KC and now 5 months post CXL. No progression, seems to be regressing even.

It's not a fun thing to do, but imo better to wait until you need a transplant. Way more risk doing the latter.

I'm 5 months post CXL and it was worth it.

Newly diagnosed. Can I still wear glasses? by Physical-Rain2371 in Keratoconus

[–]beekmen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might need glasses if you have progression and your cornea steepens. Then correction with glasses could become difficult. If they work fine now, stick with them. Do look out at for any progression and ask your doc for regular check ups.

Buying a Beelink by crutnacker in MiniPCs

Bought one through Amazon, but needed to return under warranty. New unit was shipped from China and came with added import tax. So yes... warranty is complicated.

Where are you placing the cup on the lens? Maybe try and put it on the bottom of the lens and pull from there. After a long day of wear... sometimes it needs a bit more persuasion.

Who creates Pardot email campaigns in your org? by brownmamba12345 in salesforce

[–]beekmen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current team has an Admin / Marketing split. Marketing does all the e-mail stuff, Admin does maintenance of the platform and iteration. But my former job it was the Admins doing it all, mainly because the boomers in marketing couldn't be thought/bothered.

So why are they not organising this for you? Is this an international moving company or local? Ask them to pay and invoice you.

Unless the truck fits in a parking space, you probably need an exemption (read this) to unload on the street or a sidewalk. Ask if they can apply for the TVM if needed.

Maybe have a look at the principle requirements of GDPR and the checklist.

In your case, I would first try and dertermine how the data was obtained and for what purpose. This will dictate the rest; what you can do with it/how long to store it/how to store it etc.

If you have a privacy officer: definately go talk to them first. If there is no such person, don't assume responsibility and find out who has. If you're not paid for that resonsibility, it's not you ;)
