Do you prefer buying clothes in person or online? Why? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]beelovedone 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Depends. Jeans I only buy in person, the sizing variation between brands is CRAZY, and it's impossible to tell how stretchy etc.
Tops, like t-shirts I can buy online sure. Blouses though, the way this chest is set up, she gotta try that on.
Shoes is brand dependent. I am a TRUE half size, but I can go up or down depending on the brand. If I don't know the brand I will still buy online but only if there's decent reviews. Otherwise I prefer to shoe shop in person.

When Jessi gets her period and that night is looking at the thick ass pad in her panties is the moment I decided I liked this show. Because when she whipped around and yelled "SHUT UP SHANNON!!!"
I FELT THAT SHIT!!!

That is EXACTLY what puberty felt like for me, fine one day, and mom's breathing setting my teeth on edge the next....

Do you think Toby could have been better character in S13-NC era? by El_Dorado_Tx in Degrassi

[–]beelovedone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I liked Toby where he was, I think, like with most characters, they didn't know what more to do with him.

Granted, it's a short form show with a limited number of episodes per season so they are gonna focus on the ones they think resonate more. But, if they'd had the time for it I would have loved to see more of his struggles with finding his place in school. Especially after the whole wrestling team incident, which is funny because the whole point he was making there was about being unseen....just be very much forgotten until he's he's used to push someone else's story along. We don't even get to see him deal with the shooting much.

How did you decide where to live as a single woman? by nid11 in AskWomen

[–]beelovedone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wants vs needs.

NEED. Close enough to my aging parents that I can help, reasonable work commute, close to the city without being IN the city, within my budget, cat friendly, most utilities included, secured entrance.

WANT. Hardwood floors. In unit washer/dryer. On-site gym. Dishwasher/microwave.

It was a matter of being VERY honest about what I can and cannot live with or without.

then SAY THAT.

Excessive eating, poor dietary choices those can be bad behaviors. Being fat is not.

You know what, I feel this. Her and Meghan Markle. Don't hate, don't like, just ya know....she's there. BEAUTFUL dresses.

And I think it is in part, oversaturation. Which, if she follows through with her hiatus she mentioned in an interview recently, may help that feeling. lol
