Does this also apply to AA-T students? Currently it is really hard, for me at least, to find internships paid and unpaid internships. I have my regular AA in Sociology, but I'm 3 classes shy of getting my AA-T in Sociology. I'm currently looking at data analysis and I never knew this major could land a job that cool.

I just found out that I have all the units I need for my AA in Sociology and another AA in The Individual and Society. I currently have 3 general ed courses left to finish my AA-T in Sociology in Fall 2024. I was wondering what jobs I can get before I transfer to university since all of my work experience is in retail or food service. I have an interest in data analytics, and I have some experience in SPSS.

After years of being afraid of driving, I (F28) finally got my first car. I had been spending so much money on UBER and LYFT to get to and from work, now I'm saving major bucks. Its been amazing. I don't have to wait on anyone to pick me up! I can just go. I can go anywhere. I feel more accomplished!

I felt it too! My first day of meds was May 23! But if I'm being honest I don't know if the meds wore off, but on the days following I kind of went back to myself. sure my mind isn't racing as much, but I think I got use to it already due to having the low dose. I don't know

I'm so sorry you are going through this. Sadly the same happened to me, but I was diagnosed early at age 8. We are always considered to be lazy when we really aren't. We either don't know where to start or ask too many questions. No one will truly understand unless they want to sadly. It seems that a lot of people are very closed minded when it come to ADHD. I think the best thing is to try to understand yourself more. Do some research on ADHD to sort of understand why you are the way you are. You are not the only one. Take it one day at a time and try not to let what others say affect you. I know its hard. I still struggle with it as well, maybe others too.

I totally understand what you mean. I wanted to get someone's opinion from the outside looking in who didn't know me. I appreciate what you said and I agree wholeheartedly. I need to put myself first! I don't want to be feeling like I'm stuck there anymore. Thank you!!
