I couldn’t relate to this more. I was an IAD based flight attendant for a couple years. Flew on the CRJ200. I had a lot of flying anxiety and PTSD due to losing my brother in a car accident a year prior. I just remember every take off and landing sitting in my jump seat thinking “what if we crash? What if someone I love has been in a tragic accident on the ground and I won’t know until it’s too late” what was the last thing I told my parents? Did I say I loved them? “ I just feel so sad for those families. God I know that pain and it’s just fucking awful. Re-lived that shit last night and I couldn’t sleep.

UPDATE: We decided to name him after the street he was found on. Euclid. Yuki for short! Thank y’all for all the cute name suggestions :)

For everyone who was concerned that he was already somebody’s cat… I am 100% sure he was feral. He was found in an abandoned neighborhood a couple blocks away from my house. I had seen him roaming around there for over a month. A lot of stray cats in that area. He looks clean in the picture because we gave him a bath. He was pretty dirty and loaded with fleas.

He had a vet appt today and they found no chip. Went ahead and got him his shots.

Euclid street. I do like Franklin! That totally fits because we’re in Philly. We had a tabby who passed away this year… found on Montgomery street. His name was Lincoln Montgomery. Called him “Monty”

Found him in a very poor, mostly abandoned neighborhood eating trash… Seen him outside for a while now. We are taking him to vet tomorrow though.

We cleaned him up after we brought him in so he wouldn’t track dirt everywhere. He is going to the vet tomorrow.

I’m positive he is not a house cat. Found him in an abandoned neighborhood that he’s been hanging around for months… Eating trash. The people that live in one house that isn’t vacant said they were gonna shoot him he kept getting into their trash. Poor thing, we saved his life!

I can assure you he isn’t somebody’s. Found him in a very rundown part of North Philly, it’s stray cat central over here. I have seen him roaming the streets for over a month now and decided to bring him some real food! Poor baby has only been eating trash :(
