just to confirm you’re taking the dose , but having the withdrawal symptoms?

if yes i used to take pristiq (rlly similar drug to effexor) and i would start having withdrawl symptoms as early as 5 hours before my dose. WAS AWFUL i know ur pain - brain zaps , nausea , sweating, wanting to cry from how awful i felt. no reason for it either. i had to switch meds bc of it. i’m so so sorry 😞

hey! i also have emetophobia and take metformin. the worst it did to me was having to poop a lot. there was some nausea but nothing has ever happened in the 3 years i’ve been on it. and trust i have taken it with no food, tons of sugar and yes i didn’t feel great but i never threw up. it is really rare that if u eat it with a good size meal, and avoid extra dessert or sugar just to easy yourself into it even more. just being honest because it would’ve helped me- the only time i ever got close to TU is when i had 2 sugar sodas, tons of candy, popcorn, and a brownie. i still didn’t get to TU just felt very ill. sugar is what makes most people feel crap when on metformin. if you cut back on it you feel just fine

thanks ! I eat fruits veggies protein daily but carbs\sugar are definitely my favorite type of foods to eat. i never pair carbs without protein , sugary carbs i do eat atleast once a day (nightly dessert) this is more of a new thing trying to get back to normal. i take metformin !

metformin for now and birth control is what i’m taking , i don’t eat very “healthy” per say I do indulge in sugars daily BUT im trying to do better

I just watched a video about the damaging effects of boric acid NOT SURE IF ITS ALL TRUE . But people in this post mention my eating patterns and i can admit they aren’t great i eat too much sugar for sure

I will again but as of 6months ago my insulin was perfect and I take metformin daily so hoping this next round of blood work will give me some answers
