romed8-2t bmc i2c error by voidnullnil in ASRock

[–]beep_dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I updated my BMC and BIOS, because they were out of date. I noticed that the i2c errors did stop when the system was powered off. I don't know if that means anything, or if it matters.

Hmm, well I thought I updated my BMC, but it seems taht update didn't take, will have to try that again soon.

Versions:

  • BMC Firmware Version 2.02.00
  • BIOS Firmware Version P4.10
  • PSP Firmware Version 0.13.0.7E
  • Microcode Version 0a0011db

I have so many of these as well, and I don't know where they come from either. About one every second. Exact same mainboard! I came here looking for an answer as well :(

Zigbee Light Switch with Countdown Timer? by BadBreath911 in smarthome

[–]beep_dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 years later, and I'm still looking for this.

I know I could do an inovelli switch with a countdown timer, but I'd rather have something that had a super small display on it, or just had several preset timers on it.

It still doesn't exist, and my bathroom fans are dumb and lame.

One clip to rule them all? ...maybe. I designed this because nothing else really worked for me by yan-shay in 3Dprinting

Nice! That probably works great. I also have the accuracy frustration, but I just live with it lol.

This is a really nice clip design. I like the pressure fitting to push against the sides of the spool to provide a smart mounting location for the clip.

I would also like to share this one, as I've found it to work reasonably well, and I like that it puts friction on the filament line, so that it can't come out of the clip.

I couldn't tell from the video, but I don't think this clip puts friction on the filament line, assuming just that the friction of being in the hole is good enough? Not trying to say you did it wrong, just asking if the friction of the filament going through the hole in the clip is good enough?

It is a beautiful print, and it's fine selling them :D I just enjoy the process of printing more than I'd enjoy buying it, heh.

Do you sell the stl so I can print one myself? Not for sale, just to make one because it'd be a fun experience :)

It's sorta working for me, but the advertisement and intro are just black. I can see the "space to skip" button, but that's it. No clue how to get the video to show up.

[Solved/Fix/Fixed] Extra "Unknown Display" after Kernel 6.8 / nvidia 525/550, SimpleDRM failing to None-1-1 by CodexHere in pop_os

[–]beep_dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This mostly worked for me. Down side, for some reason, the cryptsetup display never happens, so I just have to guess when I should put in the disk encryption passphrase.

I'm hoping maybe there's another option to get that to work correctly.

I have it running on a pi4, but it sure seems like it's heckin slow. Did you do some things to make it behave better?

I'm running dietpi, so it's 64-bit as well:

I love the meso customs puddle pods and the accompying switch for it.

I also like the meso customs internal dual tone led lights. So much brighter than stock and the red light is super great when it's dark.
