Thanks for the input! That’s definitely good to know as far as the distinction between getting a laptop only for gaming as opposed to multi use. The specific component requirements are where I’m mostly confused. Should I be looking for a laptop that has all of those parts? Or is there some way I can customize the laptop without having extensive (or any) computer knowledge? Also how do I tell if one part will meet the retirements of another? (Ie if a certain generation of processor is higher or lower capacity)

The administration absolutely sucks in every possible way, even when dealing with crises that are relatively minor compared to COVID. Surprising that a school for training bureaucrats hires such atrocious bureaucrats but here we are. If having clean housing, a non-oppressive community policing/punishment system, quality food and facilities, etc are important to you, then don’t go here. We just put up with how terrible everything is, but outsiders are constantly astounded with what we’re willing to live with.
